Good morning all-
GrimBerry - too cute!!
QOTD - I think I will have to echo several other posters and go with my decision to have WLS. I decided in September to start this journey and to this point I have lost a total of 91 pounds. Even though I am only a week out from surgery, I know this was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Yesterday's menu:
2 Premier protein shakes
1 3/4 cups beef bone broth
Protein pudding
10 ounces diet cranberry juice
88 ounces liquid (including shakes,broth,juice)
Have great day everyone!!

Reading and learning from the vets here has been extremely beneficial for me too. What I've learned here has been invaluable. I saw good results from taking their advice pre surgery and post op things are going well too so I completely agree that the people and the information provide here are incredibly helpful but your success is yours. You're the one who put in the work. Anyone can be given a to do list or set of instructions but you followed through and that's your own personal amazing accomplishment. Go you!

Good morning. Besides the surgery, I'd say having my dog buddy diagnosed with severe liver disease and only having no more than 3 weeks to live by several doctors (and thankfully, the smartie pants doctors were way off - as she is still alive and doing pretty well 9 months later). We are just taking it a day at a time and thankful for every day with her. Just in case you are curious, no the doctors weren't wrong about the diagnosis, just the prognosis. Her liver enzymes are off the chart (higher than even the lab has ever seen). I gauge each day by the way she greets me when I come home from work and she is still smiling.
B - last of the leftover Gyro omelette
L/S - Chicken meatloaf with a little chili (meal and snack as I have 1.5 servings with me at work)
D - Small salad and Costco chicken/florentine patty
S - 2 popsicles
