Hmmmm.... I am looking at using this recipe. Is it maybe uncooked that makes a difference? This just says to rinse it off. I don't actually even like corned beef very much. Maybe I will switch it out for just beef cabbage soup instead. I know I like this and it seems less salty....probably heart healthier.

I find the IP can intensify spices, so that makes sense to me. I find in a favorite recipe that isn't originally IP it works better to scale back the spices initially, can always add more later if needed.

I was co-emceeing a conference evening event thingy. Was crazy fun. I might end up giving you that darn dress FYI!

We bought it brand new (rare...I usually shop re-sale) months in advance for that event, right? So I pulled the tags off that bad boy as I was getting dressed that night. As I walked down to the lobby I noticed I was kinda itchy. After the first ten minutes on stage I was ITCHY. By the intermission I was ON FIRE!!!!! By the time we finished the event and we were heading back to our room I thought I was going to lose my damn mind. I was covered in a bright fiery rash everywhere that the dress was touching! I could hardly jump into the shower fast enough. Was insane.

I am pretty sure it had some sort of spray on it from the store that was not friendly to my skin. I haven't decided how best to clean it. It says "Dry Clean Only" but I am thinking about running it through the wash just to get whatever that was off of it before I try to wear it again.

If it continues to hate me...you might inherit it. Wear at your own risk.

OMG that is terrible. It could be the chemicals which were made in it's creation. Maybe hand wash with woolight, and hang to dry?

I am BEYOND proud of you for quitting smoking! You can do this! I was the kind of smoker who looooooved smoking, and couldn't imagine a smoke free life. Now, I can't imagine inhaling carcinogens into my lungs. I know firsthand how tough it is though - great job!!!

OK Stop! You look amazing, and that dress is smashing! I totally get random, "I look like hell days" for no apparent reason. Some days I am convinced I am going to wake up the next morning morbidly obese again...our brains...
