I see your eyeroll and raise with a smirk. My son looking like my father who was born on 3/17. This may be my all time favorite pic of this kid.Image may contain: 1 person, standing and outdoor

Every picture of Grim before the age of about 16 has this exact same smirk :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

No, I am not Irish but I always told myself I was because my maiden name is Collins. Lol!

QOTD: No I have nothing!

So sorry to hear about the devastating fire and flooding you and your family have suffered! I'm sure it's very hard to forget something like that! Blessings going forward!

Well, the scale moved downward this morning ! I could feel it before I even got on it. My stomach looks trimmer and feels mushy (on the surface) not hard and round. LOL! DRUM ROLL: from 183.8 to 181.8

Now if I could just keep this momentum going and just get to 178 lbs and keep it there for a whole week, I'd be so happy! Then I could start to see my way to goal, 160 lbs.

I want to do something fun this weekend, but I really don't know what to do. Nothing I desire to see at the movies, too cold out still and we are supposed to get more snow tonight into tomorrow, about 2 to 4 inches! Honestly, I've always loved winter, but this is getting to be too much even for a hibernator like me.

MENU:

at home with coffee creamer (Dunkin Donuts) too many carbs, will be switching this weekend. At work, switched to half/half because of zero carbs.

BREAKFAST: Oikos Triple Zero Coconut Creme Yogurt and 2 tbsps. of regular peanut butter

LUNCH: Oikos Triple Zero Coconut Creme Yogurt and 2 tbsps. of regular peanut butter

DINNER: TBD

SNACK: TBD

What a crappy anniversary for you JB! I am so glad you have a warm safe place to snuggle up in with your guy this year. No more badness.

I am glad the week is over too. This is FINALLY the end of my Guy being away at training in the city. Now we can get back to our routine and relax. No more missing him or running back and forth after work. This weekend my plan is to pack ahead lunches, make a fresh batch of Greek yogurt, restock my freezer treats, and shop/prep/plan for dinners for the week. Lots of cleaning and laundry. It feels like settling in now that I know he will be home and all will be more normal.

EDIT: Forgot... St Patrick's Day QOTD: Not much of a celebrator but pretty Irish. My maiden name was McCracken. I often introduced myself in my best Sean Connery voice as "McCracken of the Clan McCracken" because...well..it sounds cool. You all have inspired me to edit my dinner plan and try Corned beef and cabbage in the Instant Pot. Wish me luck!

QOTD: Nope, not a thing. I have a few photographs and that is about it. I am not a 'things' person. I hang onto people and experiences. Stuff is stuff. My Guy is a 'stuff' person. He still has all his boy scout badges and a bunch of random toys from when he was a toddler. To each their own. I don't mind that he keeps stuff and he is glad I don't keep stuff. Gives him more room for his stuff. :)

PHOTO FRIDAY: Me last Friday just before performing on stage. My Guy was trying to get me to stop freaking out about hating my outfit. I was having a "everything is ugly I am going to just cry and hide in the room" melt down. He got me hamming for the camera and smiling and got me through it. Turned out I had a great time and no one turned to stone at the sight of me.

Menu: B: Greek yogurt, apple, granola; L: Roast beef slices, provolone slices; S: Grapefruit; D: Tuna casserole (EDIT: Going to change to corned beef and cabbage...not sure of totals yet); ES: Pickle spears; Totals: Calories 990, Protein 82; Carbs 90; Fat 42

Accountability: Still not smoking. No crackers or pretzels. No binge last night. Feel like I am doing better since my pouch is feeling less pain after quitting the Chantix.

Have a great weekend!

Warning about Corned Beef in the IP. Mine was salty as hell and pretty inedible even though it was fall apart perfect. I read late that you should soak it for a day or more to get the salt out. Oops.
