that flood and fire are tragic - I am so sorry that happened to you (and your parents). That would be devastating!!

I don't have any Irish blood :-( I did have one grandmother whose parents were born in Scotland, though....so close (maybe??). Oddly, my husband, whose father was from Massachusetts, has no Irish blood, either (he's half Italian, though - the other big group in that area!)

I'll be working remotely this morning (at a coffee shop) and then presenting to a pre-op class at 11:30, and it's over on the other side of the city, so food (at least lunch) might be weird...

21 months out:

B: Greek yogurt, raspberries, 1 T Kashi Crunch granola

S: coffee with half & half, SF protein/fiber mocha latte

L: ?? (I have a protein bar with me just in case....)

D: Michigan salad (with chicken breast)

probably another Greek yogurt later on - or one of those shamrock shakes that was on the main OH page yesterday!!

Friday! It has been a long week. Flying home and back to snow today and I'm so bummed about it! :(

I had a rough go as a kid and in my early years moved between homes and different family members. I managed to keep a handmade security blanket that went with me everywhere. It's very sentimental to me and is tucked away safe and sound at home. I'm sorry you lost you special childhood things in that fire. I would be very hurt if I lost my blanket.

B: Protein shake

S: Protein shake

L: Protein shake

S: Protein shake (think I'm starting to get tired of these)

D: some kind of Soup broth

Below is a picture from yesterday's sunrise at the beach (if I followed JP's instructions correctly, lol) on my way to do a long walk on a vista cliff at sunrise before packing up and flying home. Have a great day everyone!

forgot to add a photo. This is me and my father on my last day at the nursing home (Monday). He looks so great in this picture!!

Good Lord - I also forgot the QOTD. What's wrong with me today?? No dolls or stuffed animals (actually, I didn't have dolls because I never liked them - had lots of stuffed animals, though. Knowing my mother, she probably tossed them. Boo!)
