This is orthostatic hypotension. It's very common in the first year after surgery. You can do a search here for lots of posts about it.

Drink more, and then drink more after that. Add some salt in your diet, along with other electrolytes. Get up slowly from sitting or lying down. If you are on BP meds, talk to your doctor about ending them.

Anyone with a blood pressure cuff can test you for orthostatic hypotension very easily.
