You are doing fantastic! My NUT says to snack only if you need to and to stick to meals preferably. I choose not to snack mainly because it takes me so long to 'recover' from eating so that I can even drink comfortably.

I agree with Pam. Tell the NUT to back the hell up! LOL!

My NUT is all over my ass to eat more veggies and fruit. She said to me "who has the degree?" I just didn't answer and was thinking to myself...When you have WLS then we can have another conversation about losing after surgery. When my blood glucose goes down way to low(I was diabetic taking 5 shots a day before surgery, now none so I have monitor it closely) then I will have a fork full of fruit just, enough to bring my sugar level back up a few points.

Morning pouch pals! While I enjoyed being off yesterday- it was hard. Being home with nothing to do, and no where to go leaves me to dream up all the yummy things I'd love to eat. Snow storms compound that desire x100. I drank lots of fluids yesterday, cleaned, worked out @ home, shoveled etc to keep my mind busy. I did well overall.

QOTD: No March Madness. No sports. Bah humbug.

22 months out, 195.6 today

M1: 1 egg,/egg beater; 5 turkey sausage links (BTW- ever since I dropped putting cheese on my eggs- my breakfasts feel far more filling!

M2: 1/2 can tuna, 1 boiled egg, 1 oz cheese, 1 oz cashews

M3: 6 oz beef stew

M4: Spaghetti w/ meat sauce, no noodles

Just a flyby now and I'll come back and read this afternoon. Getting ready to go help get the meal ready for the seniors. Lily and I did get our 3.2 miles early. It was a fast pace as it was 14 degrees outside here in Illinois. Post op 4 years 6 months and weight at 117.4 today. No extra bites yesterday so that was a plus. Here's the food plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L no more than 1 c crab salad D 31/2 oz meatballs with no sugar added pasta sauce (noodles for hubby) 1/2 c Brussels sprouts S Quest chocolate chip cookie protein bar. Lots of fluids especially coffee too. Have a great day everyone and make some amazing choices that move you one step closer to your goal!

Good morning! So foggy this morning which made my 45 minute commute a pain because IMO people just don't know how to drive!

I went to my pilates class at the gym last night and I only almost chickened out 4 times, ha! I really did enjoy it and I'm looking forward to cardio tonight.

QOTD - My BF is a HUGE sports fan and LOVEs college basketball. We did the brackets last year with some guys from his work and I won! I knew nothing, I just used the rankings and guessed, go figure? The guys were all in shock!! Although I watch basketball w/BF, it's not my game. I love NFL and I'm a die hard Patriots fan. I enjoy baseball too, Red Sox of course!

Yesterday was a beautiful day here. Our kids are on Spring Break, so when I got home, I was greeted by all three of mine plus two nieces! My MIL asked if they could stay the night last night so she could take them to Adrenaline City today. So...hubby and I had leftovers on the deck and watched the sunset. We were also asleep by 9:30, and I feel so rested!

QOTD: Huh? I guess that says it all. I'm not a huge fan of basketball. We like high school and college football, but not too much sports on our TV unless you count NASCAR. Hubby and kids love to watch the races. I love to nap during races. We're all fans of NASCAR.

3.5 months post op / 189 lbs today

B: Low fat cottage cheese

S: Refried beans, cheese

L: Salmon, cauliflower rice

S: Oikos triple zero, vanilla

D: Chicken hobo dinner

S: only if I need one

L: One coffee down, 30 oz water w/lemon down, more to follow...

Early yesterday morning about 3AM I woke up in horrific pain! I couldn't breath it hurt so bad and I kept vomiting. My husband rushed me to the ER and found out I have gallstones and they gave me morphine, recommended a surgeon and released me. I am so angry because I wished they would have kept me in the hospital and taken the damn thing out!!! Now, I have to call my surgeon and schedule it. Now I have to set up to pay my surgeon his portion of my deductible and then pay a percentage to the hospital when I preregister. I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY to do this all up front right now!!! So I guess I shall live with this. I'm terrified of having another attack!

QOTD: I don'****ch basket ball

Nothing on my menu. I have not eaten since Monday and I don't plan on eating anytime soon. I'm too terrified!
