What's on your Wednesday Menu RNYers?
Strangely cottage cheese always fills me up (I eat it when I have the hungry horrors to shut them down).

Welcome back! I know you know this but always good to have a reminder, right?
1.) Get back to weighing and measuring. You won't know how much you are really eating until you do. It's so easy to assume we are eating less then we are.
2.) Start tracking what you are eating in My Fitness Pal or some other tracker. If you are trying to lose, keep calories under 850 and carbs under 50 (probably lower).
3.) Protein forward! If you can get protein up over 80g and calories under 900, you won't have room for carbs.
4.) Don't forget to drink lots of fluid, but remember to wait 30+ minutes to drink after eating. Don't waste the food by flushing it through your pouch too quickly and forgoing the full feeling.
5.) Keeping coming back! We are here to keep you accountable in a fun way!
Dear JuniperBerry,
Thanks a lot for this post!
I see a couple things I don't do right here.
I was keeping my calories at 1,000 and my carbs I was trying to keep at 55, but in your reply to me about keeping them even lower is a great idea, or solution. I was tracking just now in My Fitness Pal and I noticed that the Coffee Mate and Dunkin Donuts coffee creamers do have lots of carbs, especially if you drink lots of coffee like I do. So one quick fix.
Also, since coming back to OH my protein has been the focus and increased but still only around 60-70 a day.
Yes, I can look at anything sweet or crunchy and I'll gain!
I appreciate you taking the time to look at my post and for your insight! Blessings!
Good Morning! Sorry you have to head back to work today, stay warm and safe.
QOTD: Nope, I do know a few guys here at the office that do the bracket thing but it doesn't seem that many people participate. I sit here waiting patiently for Opening Day :)

I made it as far as Champaign, Illinois last night (and this hotel is GORGEOUS! Thank you, hotwire.com!!). Only four hours 'til I'm back home. YAY! They have a fabulous breakfast buffet here with lots of things I can actually eat, so I really overdid it - I'll have to really watch it the rest of the day!
QOTD: I never gave a hoot about college basketball until the Univ of Wisconsin made it to the end a couple of years back (my alma mater and employer). I haven'****ched it since...
21 months out
B: coffee with half & half, open-faced breakfast sandwich, 1 C cottage cheese with fresh mixed fruit
L: ?? Maybe Greek yogurt?
D: ?? something low-calorie and protein forward (not sure what we have at home - I made a lot of stuff for my husband before I left, but it's been 10 days. I should still have some turkey meatballs in the freezer since he rarely eats them, so maybe those....)

Good morning everyone!
We stayed home yesterday expecting to be shoveling snow a few times but once Monday and once Tuesday was all it took. We didn't get the mixed precipitation that some of you did so although there was some good volume (12" ish) it was fluffy and easy to move. Inside we were productive too whi*****luded cleaning out the fridge and basement freezer before garbage day today. Planning some time out of the house today to run some errands... and find another Value Village.
QOTD I'm too Canadian to get worked up about March Madness but I was in Arizona for March Break in 1992 when I was 16. 'Madness' was not the chosen description solely because it's a cute alliteration.
Generally speaking Canadians don't share the American fascination with high school and college sports. The stadiums that some of your college teams play in are completely insane and we don't have anything even close to that here. Our biggest stadium doubled (which is home to a pro team) is still smaller than Michigan Stadium.
B- coffee w/ 1/2 premier chocolate
L- leftover chicken and tzatziki
D- more leftover chicken, zoodles and guacamole
S- 1/2 premier chocolate, 2 slices rosemary ham
Totals 555 cals, 97g protein, 8g carbs
Have a great day guys!
Christine

Flurrying last night and this morning but we will get above freezing. Nothing sticking.
QOTD:I do not follow basketball at all. My coworker has a 3 day party with 9 hundred screens going.
Yesterday I had a dark chocolate covered graham cracker and a chocolate marshmallow (smore) and two pieces of sugar free chocolate. (I'm supposedly in maintenance but want to see under 120). Not quite done yet I think.
Food for today:
CM yogurt/ coffee/ indian curry chicken/not sure on dinner yet
