UGH weather is crappy, just rain though no snow.

QOTD: I think you guys already know this, I have a BM in vocal performance. I am a classically trained (opera) singer. My favorite halloween I dressed up as brunhilda from wagner ring cycle. It was pretty hilarious.

I would love to hear you sing. But please, don't tell people you have a BM hanging on your wall.

Good morning JB and gang. My kiddo is still not feeling great, so I've decided to work from home and let him sleep in today. I think I'm getting whatever it is that he has. I'm getting fever blisters on my lips, and I'm not feeling great. We got about 4 inches of snow yesterday, but obviously not as much as you guys will be getting in New England today. Stay safe out there, guys.

JBQOTD: I love to sing when I'm alone. Only when I'm alone because my voice isn't really pleasant. I can carry a tune, but I'm definitely not a singer. But, there is nothing like cranking up your favorite song in the car, and going all out at the top of your lungs! Only when the windows are up! LOL.

Isn't it just funny, it's 7:30am and I'm working from home with my little one and the puppy practically hanging on me while I work, and I found a huge issue with my data that is very concerning. Now it's going to be an issue, and trying to figure it out from home is going to suck. Sigh.

Morning everyone!

my day went sideways yesterday after I got called in for a last minute interview set up through an agency. I said yes without much detail, but when I got there, I realized it's absolutely perfect for me. Like, perfect-perfect. I wish I'd had more time to prepare. I should know today or tomorrow if I make it to the next round. I'm becoming less confident of my chances with each passing hour.... Old habits being what they are, after the interview I needed to gas up the car, and I was pretty wired, and my eyes went right to the ice cream cooler! Sigh. I had water instead.

Also, public service announcement: if you're trying to wear tights that are too big, they don't just sit high under your chest. At least in my case, they also bunch around the knees, giving your legs a distinctive Stay Puft vibe!

qotd: I am not a good singer. I sing all the time though. My husband's extended family are mostly all singers, some professionally. My father in law sounds like Bing Crosby. Legit. I've tried getting my husband to take lessons because he has a great voice too, but no confidence ( somewhat understandable given his family).

Menu:

B: protein shake

L: 1/2 can of tuna, with veggies

D: tbd, I have to take something out of the freezer, probably chicken done up some how.

S: skyr with bran buds

take care everyone!

I'm playing the waiting game myself and it sucks. Fingers crossed that they'll have you back in and you can better prepare yourself for round two! And be proud of yourself anytime you can drown thoughts of ice cream with water, that's a win.
