What's on your Tuesday Menu RNYers?
I live alone and I have enough food in my pantry, fridge and freezer to last me at least 2 weeks...I might be bored of it, but the Costco 8 pack of Tuna and the protein powder assortment alone...will keep me going for awhile...

My company closed the offices in Massachusetts today, but I am in NJ and the meeting is on (all the execs got here successfully last night). I hope flights are back to normal by tomorrow afternoon (flight out at 5).
QOTD: I cannot carry a tune AT ALL, though the songs sound perfect in my head. I always wished I could. No one in our family can, even our 2 adopted children.
B, L, D: No idea! Hoping I can extract protein from the food served at the meeting
S: brought a packet of almonds and protein bar if needed

Good morning!
First day back to work today so finally getting back to my normal schedule. I went to the gym this morning and ran 1 mile and walked 1 mile. At my 2 week post op appointment yesterday the Dr said I can run as much as I want! :D But I still have a lift restriction of 25 lbs for 2 more weeks.
Finally getting to eat real (if purees are considered real lol) food! And it has been great!
QOTD- I can't sing but beware if you are in the car with me I WILL sing despite my ability!
Menu:
m1- protein shake with fair life milk
m2- pureed chicken, ricotta, and marinara sauce
m3- pureed chicken, blue cheese, and buffalo sauce
m4- family dinner will hopefully puree whatever meat we are having
m5- protein shake with fair life milk
My scale still will NOT move. Hasn't moved since like 5 or 6 days after surgery! Grrrr

It took me 9 days post op just to get back down to my surgery weight so during those early weeks it was beneficial for me to put the scale away for awhile and back off of the daily weigh ins. I'm sure you've read enough here to know that it doesn't come off in a linear (or even logical) fashion so stick with it and you'll do great!

Christine
Yay, for pureed foods and getting in exercise! I walked a 1.5 miles during my lunch break at work yesterday and felt like I was going to pass out after. I am seriously trying to increase my water and protein today so that I can exercise without feeling bad after.
How is your pouch tolerating the purees so far?
I am looking forward to getting away from the sweet shakes.
Have a great first day back at work!
