Teeth
Here's a weird one for you to chew on. When brushing my teeth, since the surgery, for the first 15 to 20 seconds while brushing my teeth feel like they're on fire. Then like a light switch being flipped they're fine and I can finish brushing. Nothing like this happened prior to surgery and I have excellent teeth health. It's certainly weird, I'm just wondering if anyone else has ever heard of this. Thanks
That is a weird one. Are you using a new toothpaste? Try something like Sensodyne maybe? Mine are really sensitive too, I need to use warm water a non abrasive toothpaste. Good luck.

That's interesting, never had that problem. Maybe you have a cut along the gum line somewhere that you can't see & the toothpaste is irritating it?

Since surgery I have had some allergies that I did not have before. So maybe there is something that is in the toothpaste that could be bothering your teeth.
I would talk to your dentist. My teeth are better than they were before surgery.
Maybe try a natural toothpaste also.
I find I need more dental aids to feel " truly clean " since surgery ... like natural tea tree oil mouthwash ... fancy gum stimulating dental floss ... yeah it's weird.
i would say I'm more sensitive tooth-wise but also more healthy ( haven't had a single dental issue since before WLS many years ago ) . Cleanings are thorough and a tiny bit bloody but the results are gorgeous:)
