Good Morning and Happy Friday!
I have had a really tough week. I attended a 4-day Lean Training course with colleagues and my eating was TERRIBLE! I didn't go to the gym at all, and we ate out every day, which just opened Pandora's box of bad choices until bed time. I'm really bloated - I think it's probably due to all the salt I've had, and I think I'm still having some swelling from my panini/TT. I'm back in my the office today, and have a good lunch packed (and a water pill...). We are going out with my in-laws tonight, but I am determined to make good choices! When I eat this bad and don't workout it just gives me an overall "blah" feeling. I had many moments in the evenings of "will I ever not be so fat." My rationale self knows I am no longer fat, but my emotional self still sees my fat self when I feel down about my food/activity choices. Here's to a new day today!
We have a birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese in Saturday. On Sunday my family is signed up to do a 5k; however, it's supposed to be a high of 31. I'm not sure the kids will be up for it - or me, but it might be a big motivator to move faster :) I also have a baby shower Sunday; always nice to see old friends.
My photo is of my Mom and I from our fall trip to Las Vegas. She is one of the greatest people, and she has always been so supportive of me. She has an incredible bond with my kids and I am so thankful for that. She helps in anyway she can and let's me vent all the way to or from work when needed. I feel blessed everyday to have her as my Mom and best friend :)

Morning RNY'ers!! I'm off today and couldn't be happier about that. My son is doing well- it's interesting trying to find soft foods for him to eat- takes me back to my early post op days. Today I'm planning on trying an exercise class- I'm nervous about it-- have never been to one. There are snow showers though-- so depends if the snow starts to accumulate if I'll go out. My body is so SORE from my SWORKIT workout on Wednesday too. No other weekend plans- hubby will be out of town for a church thing
