Carb heavy meal
To me, it is strange that they would not give you any clear criteria, since this is a study- something along the lines of "x" grams of sugar and "x" grams of carbs. How can they truly study the effects if they don't? Do you at least have to measure how many sugar/carbs grams you are consuming????

My answer: all of the above. I'd pick a pasta sugar combo. Pasta with garlic bread, topped off with cheese cake. Personally I'd avoid fried because for me that creates a different type of GI upset for me. I'd also be Cautious of sauces due to acidity and your prior reflux issues.

I haven't had pasta since before surgery. I only dumped for real, one time, but get RH now and then, but inconsistently.
The only thing guaranteed to put me in an RH tailspin is ice cream. It doesn't take much.
