You are doing amazing. That is so great. I wish I could have puréed. My surgeons plan still has me on full fluids.

When I was on full liquids, I made SF Jello Pudding, added unflavored protein powder, and made pudding pops in the freezer. I was just needing to be able to chew on something.

It was a good treat!

We had surgery a day apart, my postop is Monday as well. I've lost 12 pounds since surgery, and 28 total since start of liquid diet.

I am also on purees lol. People told me I was moving to fast, but it's my surgeons orders. I cannot, however, eat pureed meats... not because I've tried, but I just don't know how to make them? It sounds weird to me.

I havw tried refried fried beans a/ melted cheese and scrambled eggs. Both in which went okay. How do you make your purees? Just blend the meat? Hmm...

I used my Immersion blender but a regular blender works fine too.

77 lbs lost and counting!

Losing the regain! I got this!

I just don't know how that would taste. Lol.

Yeah, the thought grossed me out a bit, but it was surprisingly good- as long as you have enough liquid mixed in. Now that I'm out of the puree stage, I have no desire to go back- but it was a good treat after the liquid stage.

What did you mix it with?

I made soups with quite a bit of meat in them and pureed those. Chicken, turkey, ham. Was told to avoid beef and to avoid cream soups. Turkey gumbo (made with no rice) was delicious. Split pea and ham, navy bean and ham, chicken chili.

Cream soups are okay by my surgeon. I am trying not to eat them often though.
