It's supposed to cool down here and I even heard something about a possibility of snow. YUK. I'm so ready for Spring.
QOTD: I like it staying light later at night and would like it to be Daylight Savings Time all year around.
B: bacon & spinach egg frittata
L: chicken and wild rice soup
D: not sure yet (need to go grocery shopping)
S: Light n Fit Greek yogurt
S: roast beef roll-ups with cream cheese

Morning Menu Peeps!
I am jumping in before I read others, but I'll be back!
QOTD: I think we should be on Daylight Savings ALL the time... I'd much rather have mornings dark, than evenings... I'm so looking forward to 'losing' one hour of sleep! I adore late evenings with daylight, I get so much more done (in my mind anyway).
The scale is moving again, but I'm still not down to my lowest just yet... I really hope it continues so I can have a loss this month! Right now I'm right where I was last month at weigh in... And I've been HANGRY ya'll... like my stomach is growling for food... does anyone thing this far out, it could be acid? I've never had any issues with acid to my knowledge, but it crossed my mind... what would I take for that to see if it helps? Ugh, I'd like my freshly-out-of-surgery pouch back for a few more months, please!

L: I believe there is ONE MORE freezer treat... baked ricotta with meat... the question is, will I eat that or go grab something? (If I do, it'll be protein forward, but Pei Wei's letuce wraps have been whispering to me the last few days)
D: Beer can chicken and possibly sauteed cabbage
S: Decaf latte with SF syrup and Fairlife

I do think we can have issues with acid at any time. I had some acid issues a couple of weeks ago. This was very troubling to me, because I had not had any since surgery. I think it had to do with post-surgery pain meds.
For me, acid is a burning feeling.

Maybe I've just hit further out, and my tummy is waking up... I don't know... maybe the HRT that I started last week... who knows... I've been fighting it for the last few days, thinking it would settle back into MY routine... but it's still growly today, and I ate breakfast already, and usually don't eat lunch until around 1:30... I'm going to try not to eat earlier, but we'll see... if it keeps up, I guess I'll add a snack.

For me when this started happening I was able to add more fruits and veggies. It seemed like the tummy growling went with higher tolerance for raw fresh stuff. Earlier in the journey raw and fresh was rough on my pouch but about 11 months I was able to eat an apple or an orange, carrot sticks and salad, and that sort of stuff much more comfortably than before and it was very satisfying. It really helped the hunger.

Good Morning! I know I am one that refers to today as Friday-eve so maybe it was me We are getting warmer as well and should be mid-70's this weekend and continuing next week.
QOTD: I typically don't mind it much but would agree that it seems outdated now and not something we really need anymore.
Time since surgery: 2 years, 6 months
B: SF latte, eggbeaters with roasted red pepper, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links
L: String cheese, Albacore tuna mixed with hot mustard, lettuce leaves (to make wraps) and baby carrots
S: SF latte, Yoplait Greek 100 mixed berry yogurt, jerky pack, 100 cal pack of cashews
D: Buddig black forest ham wrapped in butter lettuce, carrots and ¼c FF cottage cheese
S: decaf latte
E: 7 miles this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch
V/W: On track

Yeah on no binge eating!!! Sometimes, just one day of clean eating sets me straight enough to stand up to myself for a few more days... hope it's the same for you!
