Oh! QOTD! I love the light! And I love the dark for sleeping. I like the light in the morning and late in the evening, so I don't mind DST. I have not liked it since it has changed to starting earlier in the year. I would like to have those early morning hours of light stick around, and then they take them away. Overall, my biggest beef with it is that I just dislike the transition. Everyone is so grumpy for about a week, especially one of my sons.

Breakfast was 2 tbsp of cream of wheat made with 1/2 cup of 1% milk. That stuff doesn't stop thickening, I swear. Oddly enough I love it.

Morning snack, 60 ml diluted apple juice.

Lunch is a 1/2 cup of puréed vegetable soup, mixed with 1/2 cup of FF Greek yogurt. It tastes surprisingly ok but it might be the weirdest combination of foods I've ever done.

Supper will be strained mushroom soup and SF chocolate pudding.

Day 10 of diet, 11 days post op. So far so good.

Good afternoon menu friends! Happy Friday Eve!! This is Friday for me. I am heading out of town in an hour or so for a long weekend. Looking forward to getting a change of pace. This week has been a rough one and I am glad it is almost in the rear view mirror.

QOTD: I just like the sun. I don't really care what time the clock tells me it is.

Menu: B: The Usual; L: Freezer Surprise (Meaty Ricotta Bake); Snacks and Dinner will all be on the road and I am not sure what we will have. I am bringing yogurt and cheese sticks and lunch meats for the hotel. I will be protein forward whatever it is.

Accountability: No smoking continues. Wheee! Long car drive with my Guy will be interesting. He says he will pull over and take a walk when he needs a smoke break. I think it will be fine. No binge last night. Had my evening snack but changed out Chobani for my homemade yogurt with my granola and a banana. I know it is a bigger serving and more satisfying so I thought it might stop the binge craving. It seemed to work! I was able to fall asleep through the night. Hoping this is going to continue to work for me. Edit: weighed 122.8 this morning. Back to my steady. I am feeling pretty happy here, hope I can hold on to it.

See you all Monday!

I make it based on Eggface's recipe for Ricotta Bake and add browned ground beef and Italian sausage and add that to the sauce. It freezes great!

Thank you for cheering me on. It really helps.
