What's on your menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?
Working days so late post for me - my first break since 11:30. Not that I am complaining time goes by so much faster when I am busy.
QOTD: I have lost over 80 pounds since I started on my journey to get surgery. I have a ton more energy I don't have to drive around and find a close parking spot anymore. I am working on plans to go visit my sister in Texas in June, and go to the beach something that would not have really appealed to me at my heaviest.

Hi all!
Good news is I ate no cookies today:-) I'd be lying if I said I didn't look for leftovers, but I was happy someone took them. Today is my Friday- I'd say yippee but I'm already anxious over everything I'll have to go back to. Tomorrow my son has oral surgery under general anesthesia, so I'll be mothering him the next two days.
Qotd: something I'm planning to do still, since WLS: bike ride. Funny that I can run in the road with no problem but I'm fearful of being on the road on a bike. I feel like I don't have enough control of my being on a bike. I live in a city that's is very bike friendly so I want to take advantage of the bike lanes for something other than running.

Surgeon, Darren Tishler
Today:
Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs
Lunch: 2 oz broiled chicken w/tahini sauce, a few bites of lettuce w/olive oil vinaigrette
Protein Power Up: 2 oz leftover chuck roast
Dinner: 4 oz cod, 1/4 c baked onion, 1/4 c baked yam slices, 1 Tbs tartar sauce for the cod. (this is actually probably too much at once, and I'll probably end up eating 2 oz of cod and/or dropping the yam)
Snack: tall nonfat decaf SF vanilla latte. (wasn't nearly as good as I hoped; back to regular coffee for me!)
QOTD: kayaking -- I've always been afraid I'd get stuck in the kayak if it flips over because of my big ol belly & butt.
