Hobo dinner: The best part about these is that you can add whatever you want to it.

Lay a piece of foil on counter, add meat (hamburger patty, thin steak, etc.), season, add veggies, add butter, season top, make foil into pouch.

Bake on cookie sheet at 350 or on BB****il meat is done and veggies are tender. Remove, add cheese, return to oven. Remove when cheese is melted and enjoy!

Here's what my low carb Hobo Dinner looked like:

Boneless, skinless chicken breast, salted and peppered, Roasted Hatch green chilies, yellow summer squash, cauliflower, onion slices. I used real American cheese slices...next time....sharp cheddar. I think it will go well with the squash!!!

My husbands/kids Hobo Dinners have:

HB patty, potatoes, carrots, squash, onion, Velveeta. Each pouch is different because some don't like the carrots, some don't want onions, etc. I mark all pouches with names or initials or numbers (since all of my kids' names start with "L," I just put 1, 2, & 3. Last night, they wanted a little German Sausage in theirs as well. When you do that, make sure you put the sausage under the potatoes, or it will dry out!

I always make extra for myself and husband (in a separate pouch). We pack our lunches, so it's easy to throw this from foil pouch to glass bowl for re-heating.

*ETA: Chicken in mine was really moist, and I cut it up into 4 pieces. One chicken breast made two dinners, but I'm splitting one dinner into two meals, so one chicken breast is equal to four meals for me.

I just got out of a 6 week stall. Every time I would get it to go down it went back up again. I felt like I lost the same 2 lbs 10 times! Just keep doing what you are doing.

Good morning Everyone!

I ate less yesterday but the scale still registered 181.8. At first I stared at it incredulously, but then I realized how grateful it's stayed in the 181 range. I would love to see the scale reflect 179, but I guess I'm going to have to move a bit more.

QOTD: Go fishing more with my husband and actually fish, even though I hate the worms and seeing the poor fish gasping for air Also, riding our bikes, and a dream of mine to start running.

MENU:

COFFEE, COFFEE, COFFEE

Breakfast: When I saw how large this omelet was I felt like a big fat pig when eating it: 1 whole egg, 3 egg whites, shredded mozzerella, some raw red peppers, green olives, and shredded chicken from a roasted chicken (white meat only) topped with hot salsa. Couldn't fini**** all.

Lunch: I still have the meatball burger from yesterday because I wasn't hungry, so I ate an Oikos Triple Zero yogurt instead. So lunch today will be either the burger or another yogurt. I feel so piggish from the breakfast.

Dinner: No idea

SNACK: No idea

Good morning! It's supposed to be in the high 70's today and for the next week, so happy about that!! Nice weather makes me want to get out and hike, I love that.

QOTD - I'm only 3 months out and so far, I am just starting to recognize the changes. Right now, my energy level is up and so is my desire to go and do. I'm looking forward to trying more challenging hiking trails that I have avoided like the plague because of my weight. Joining the gym - which I have decided to go ahead and do (as soon as I decide which one). BF wants to start kayaking - something I would never have done before and even though I'd still like to lose more before we go, I'm excited!

I mostly walk... then break out in these feeble attempts to run! LOL And it's all good... I never come in last, and I always feel so accomplished afterwards!

Hi All, I never got a chance to come back and post my actual menu until now... I stupidly deleted it off the other post and didn't copy and paste. My work day has been INSANE. Like literally insane. Anyway, it's a good thing that I got TEN hours of sleep last night. I needed it apparently!

QOTD: Everything! I mostly just really like feeling the freedom and confidence when I need to move my body. I like going for walks at work and exploring! And I like that I am going to go to a HS reunion tonight and I'm not worrying about how people are going to perceive my weight (naturally I am worried about all the other negative ways I will be perceived, but hey...baby steps!).

18 months post op / 119lbs today (move, damnn you!) / no longer in maintenance--actively trying to lose those 5lbs that won't budge again

B: egg & cheese & iced coffee

S: moon cheese

L: chai protein drink

S: sargento balanced break

D: pub fare... probably a burger? maybe a drink, depending on how the evening goes!

Vitamins: Patches on (D3, Multi and Iron) Oral (2 additional iron)

Exercise: rest day

If it's OK I'd like to jump onto this now, even though I am a few weeks from my surgery date (3/29)

QOTD- My big change is going to be riding my bike to work. I'm changing jobs next month (asked them to hold off until I had this surgery). I'll be three weeks out when I start the new job, which is in a different city, and I'll be staying with my sister the first few months there while I still have to pay out my lease on an apt here in the Northern Ohio area. My sister's house is a flat five miles from my new job, and there is a bike lane that I can use for most of the ride! I picked up a great basic bike (Schwinn style 7 speed) on sale, and it has fenders and a back rack for my bag. I'm really excited to do this and I think that even if I take it easy on the way in (so I'm not a sweaty mess) I can pu**** some on the way home and get in some decent cardio. Until I'm up to it I'll just try to take some rides around the neighborhood.

Breakfast- Overslept so zip

MS - smoked almonds

Lunch - Roasted Eggplant soup and mushroom ravioli

AS- skipped

Dinner - venison tacos with lettuce leaf shells

ES- SF Greek Yogurt
