Morning gang! I am working like a mad woman to get things organized so I can take off early tomorrow and be out on Friday. It is funny, when I am at work I often feel like I don't really 'do' anything but if I am going to be out or miss a day I can really see things pile up.

I am heading to Dallas for the weekend for an event. Really looking forward to time with friends and chosen family. I need a break from the 'real' world. Tonight I need to do laundry and pack and all that fun stuff.

QOTD: I simply tend to do more. Lots more of everything. Instead of feeling exhausted by 7pm I am wide awake and cleaning the kitchen at 10pm. I take the stairs without even thinking about it. I park where ever the first space is no matter how far from the door instead of circling like a vulture. I dance in the aisles of the grocery store to the awesome 80****s that are now considered 'elevator music' despite the fact that I am not invisible (a fact my son reminds me of often). I trot instead of shuffle. I sit up straighter and have better standing posture. Too many things to even count.

Accountability: Much better night last night. No binge or trouble sleeping. I think I was so exhausted from not sleep the night before that my brain just shut down. I slept through the night and woke feeling rested. I weighed 122.6 again this morning so my binge evening bump did balance back to normal. I am grateful. Still no smoking! Go me!!

Menu: The Usual Greek breakfast (changed up for a banana instead of grapes....whee wild!); L: Meaty ricotta bake; S: Grapes; D: Instant Pot Chicken Tortilla Soup; ES: Chobani Simply 100 "Crunch"

Totals: Cals: 1075; Protein 836; Carb 95; Fat 56

Have a great day!

Interesting that you mention posture. When I walk by windows or mirrors, I've noticed my posture is horrible and that I lean forward. Not sure why unless it is/was to support my (heavier) weight, hum...

Good morning,

Maybe if I put this out there, I can stay strong today. I've been binge eating for the last week every night. You think after I saw the scale this week it would rein me in but it hasn't. Any advice? I will be strong.

QOTD When it gets warmer, I enjoy walking around my neighborhood. Last year i got the state park sticker so I could go to the beach. I would like to get a bike.

B spinach, red pepper, ham and cheese omelet and string cheese

L tuna, baby carrots and raisins

D cheeseburger and asparagus

S Greek yogurt, turkey sausage snack sticks and honeycrisp apple

Have a great day

I think that by coming here and telling us, is a great first step!

Head hunger sucks, and when it manifests in a way that we feel out of control, it's really stressful and hard on us!

Take tonight one step at a time... plan on something (I plan on my latte) that will make you happy instead of going loose in the cabinets. Also, if you CAN throw any of it away, do that when you feel strong! Sma**** down, pour sour milk over it, coffee grounds, whatever it takes...

And just promise yourself ONE night without snacking... and see how you feel the next day.

(((Hugs))) Be strong!

Good morning, menu family! I've really been struggling to get on and post my menu. I'm a little upset with the scale. Two and a half weeks ago, I weighed in at 189. Then, the next morning I was 194. I am stuck there!!!! Golly! I know I'm eating right, getting as much exercise as possible, drinking my fluids. I just don't know what is up. I did start taking Chantix, so I'm wondering if that has something to do with it. My sister has been in the hospital (heart failure type symptoms), so I've been stressing. Bathroom issues. Who knows what it is! I'm just going to trudge on and see if I can get that scale moving in the right direction! If I can't, I'll throw it out and go buy a new shiny one. If I'm not losing weight, I might as well feel "upscale" when I weigh.

QOTD: Funny you should ask this. Husband and I were discussing a little camping trip (small, weekend long) for the kids on Spring Break. I'm not requesting a whole lot of time off for this, so I wanted to go somewhere that we haven't been in a while. He suggested our local lake....no water or electricity or showers. Nope, not me! I suggested our closest State Park, "Because I would like to walk/hike the trails this time." Before, I would sit at camp and he and the kids would walk and hike the trails, but this time....I WANNA GO!!! I'm much more active now.

Menu:

B: Low Fat Cottage Cheese, Cashews

S: Jerky, Kosher Pickles

L: 1/2 of a Low Carb Hobo Dinner (I made two: One for dinner last night, one for lunch today. Didn't realize that I would get two meals out of each pouch!)

S: 1/2 of a Low Carb Hobo Dinner

D: 1/2 of a Low Carb Hobo Dinner (because the kids are having chili dogs)

Totals: 731 calories, 35 carbs, 36 fat, 77 protein

L/V: On track. Six cups coffee down (w/ Miralax), working on iced tea, water with crystal light after work

E: Building a fence around our garden area tonight, so manual labor again!

Have a great day, folks! And thank you all for being so supportive.

What are hobo dinners??

Ugh, your scale is a meanie!!! Don't let it talk you into anything rash.... and yes, if that thing continues, toss it out the window and upgrade ;)
