Morning everyone! A late post for me!
qotd: just being able to do more of everything! I've always been outgoing, but the last few years as my weight really climbed, I made my world smaller and smaller. Now, not only do I say yes to pretty much anything, I'm back to being more of an instigator of activities or events. Oh and travelling. I tried hard to avoid planes the last few years. I can't wait to head to Europe in the fall (to see family and hopefully do some side trips)!
Menu:
full disclosure: I've been struggling with cravings and head hunger ever since I started adding snacks to my day. It has me thinking about food way too much. I haven't gone off plan or anything, it's just something I need to deal with before I do. I think instead of yogurt or veggies and cheese, I'm going to cook more meat as snacks or mini meals and try that for a couple of days and see if that helps. The whole reason I was adding snacks is because a bit of hunger has started to return, and my bloodwork indicated my blood sugar was on the low side, and the dietician suggest I spread my food out a bit more...
any suggestions are Welcome!
B: premiere protein shake
S1: 1 ounce leftover kofta with 1/4 cup cauli rice as a tortilla
L: shrimp with peppers
S2: more shrimp
D: pork tenderloin with roast veg.

Morning everyone!
Last night was the silent auction at our high school for a fundraising thing our community does every year. I ended up winning TWO baskets, one being in a bidding war with the Superintendent... at the end, I was winning, and he walked up and bid again... my mouth just opened all on it's own, and out came "OMG, really?! You're killing me!"... I had no idea it was the coveted Superintendent until he turned around to see who in the hell was yelling at him... Then he seemed a bit put off after we talked that I didn't know who he was prior... THEN... I turned around with 5 seconds left to bid, and outbid him!! I am now the proud owner of a TON of stuff, but the most important thing is the TWO... TWO new pair of Maui Jim Sunglasses!!!! Superintendent lost. Hmph. ($155.00 winning bid) I lost my mind last night folks... Does anyone need any small chores done around their house for a little extra cash??!
QOTD: I got hubs 2 tickets to the River rapids complex they built in downtown a couple of years ago. I would NEVER have gone down those rapids at 260 pounds... NOW, I'm ready to go do it all, including the ziplining across the river! I am planning to take the kids hiking one day next week during their Spring Break, doing the Rugged Maniac 5K Obstacle run in April, along with the 5K wine run 2 weeks prior to that... I'm much more active. My goal is to start having experiences as much as possible!
B: 2 decaf cups of coffee with powdered creamer and SF syrup
B2: 4oz of chili, no beans, just sweet, sweet meat and seasonings!
L: There are 2 more freezer suprises left. Either jambalaya or ricotta bake with meats
D: I forgot to take something out. I need to text Hubs and have him pull something. Protein forward!
I made it through yesterday with nothing crossing my mouth that wasn't protein forward! Yay!

Exercise... been slacking on that, but should make it to the gym today at lunch

OMG... I forgot all about trying that out!!! I'm getting gizzards next time I'm at the store!
How did they turn out with the buffalo sauce? I'm thinking since I mine breaded and fried, I'm going to just season them with the holy trinity in my kitchen... salt, pepper, and garlic
If I like the consistency of them, maybe I'll get more inventive the next time!
