What's on your menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?
Sorry I'm late posting this! I forgot my phone at home!!! Remember that QOTD from last week. Ugh. Anyway, I couldn't go back as I would have missed my bus so I will suffer through it LOL!
QOTD - Canada is celebrating our 150th Birthday this year, and as part of it, they are giving out free annual passes to all the National Parks. I sent away for mine, but the problem is that there are none within a day trip driving distance of our home. So, I've decided to buy the provincial version as there are so many provincial parks around us- including one that's only 5 minutes away. So my question is - what are you doing or planning to do that's different from before you had WLS? 1 of the main reasons I want the pass is to enjoy the beaches, but I'm also looking forward to doing more active stuff. The kids like to play soccer and beach volleyball when we go to the beach, so I'm really looking forward to joining them.
Menu:
Breakfast- Premier Protein with decaf coffee
Lunch- leftover Wendy's chilli
D- Up in the air- it's our busy night so who knows.
S- Protein Egg Custard, and not sure if anything else.

down in NC now. Dying of hypothermia in my brother's house. Good Lord I have no idea how he can live like this. It feels like it's 50 degrees (F) in here!
Headed out for coffee in a few, then on to the nursing home to see my dad.
QOTD: the thing that immediately popped into mind was flying (I drove this time because it was a last-minute decision to come down here, and I didn't want to spend $700 on a plane ticket...). I never used to fly unless I had absolutely no choice, because I was terrified of being kicked off a plane, or forced to buy two seats. No more!!!

S: coffee with half & half, double SF protein/Metamucil shake
L: leftover salad from yesterday
D: not sure. Thinking of getting takeout to take over to my stepmother's house if she's up for visitors (she has her own serious health issues, but still lives at home). If so, fish tacos. If not?? Something protein-forward
I'm also taking some grape tomatoes, an orange, and some yogurt out to the nursing home
Good happy Wednesday morning menu gang. It is suppose to be in the 80's Friday and I am way to excited lol. May break out a pair of shorts with these white legs.
Time since surgery 1 year 145.0 this morning
QOTD- Before surgery we always went to the beach and vacations but now I actually feel like walking and hiking. I have bought shorts for this spring and that would have never happened when I weighed 309. I have always loved being outside and now I love that I can move around and have fun and not be out of breath after I walk. Now me and my two daughters are in a step/activity challenge with our Apple Watches. We see who can ge the most steps in per day and win the little achievement goals. To some thats not much but to me it is huge.
B- 1 fried egg
L- 2 oz Grilled Pork Chop with Vinagerette dressing on it
D- Egg cup
S- Bacon

I left my phone at work on Monday and was half-way home when I realized it. I seriously considering going back to the office, but it had been such a lousy day that I just wanted to get away (probably the reason I left in such a hurry and forgot it). Anyhow, I was having serious withdrawl issues until I got to work yesterday.
