For me, it hits almost immediately.

Yup right away. I us usually have to walk it off. Or go lay down. I also try to eat softer foods at the next meal time to.

This is going to sound morbid but I almost want to feel "something". I don't feel the restriction. I can drink normally. I sip though but constantly. I am following the guidelines and am not hungry but again, wonder if my pouch is small enough.

You will feel something. I remember I accused my doctor of not doing anything when he was in there.

I am not being negative. But the nerves come back to life.

Just follow your plan. Don't pu****

You have almost no nerve sensation and you're taking in mostly (or all) liquids. Wait until that first day you get to try chicken. You'll go "oooohhh, that's restriction!"

Give it some time, as your body heals and all of the nerves that were cut reconnect, you will feel the restriction and be surprised by it the first time.

Salmon! I have it. I finally learned to barely cook salmon and I have a better chance of it not feeling like a heart attack. Maybe the dryness of overcooked fish? Anyway salmon is no longer one of my favorite things. Lox is better, but usually with cream cheese or something else to wet it down.

Fish in general is not one of my favorite things these days.
