Going Nutty with this Itching!
Definitely bring it up with your doctor, as itching all over can also be a sign of liver or pancreas issues not just dry skin. It's probably just dry skin, but better to have the doctor's opinion in case she would like to run some tests. I can't imagine how annoying it must be!

Band removal & RNY Feb 1 2017
I found that I have some food allergies/ sensitivity. Some foods makes my sinus block and run..others makes me itch all over.
When I eat food that has the allergen in it - I start itching- depends on what it is - my symptoms may be different. With soy - first my hands itch.....And before long is my head and all over.
Unfortunately the only way to deal with that is to avoid it..Even when that is added in small amounts. (Like soy oil, soy lecithin, etc)
Soy makes me itch like crazy. Milk -dairy (not lactose- dairy proteins) - causes gut pain and stuffy sinuses, plus voice loss. Aspartame- get get headaches plus affects my bladder ...Splenda - more than one serving every few days and I get hives. Or just itch- but that itch starts with my head ...Always... It feels like something is crawling under my skin...
When I used lots of dairy (whey, cheese,) - the symptoms would go away when I stopped all offending foods for app 4-5 days. Now if I have some cheese (love that darn thing) once in a while - I am often fine app 24 hours after I had it. I still don't do eat that often, maybe once every 2-4 weeks?
A trip to allergist may be due.

Use good handmade soap with shea, cocoa butter, plam oil.... essential oils.
Also use a good lotion with shea or cocoa butter.
The over the counter stuff has chemicals in it that dries your skin out- feels good for a little while but it is not hydrating your skin. - Just a thought.
I make my own (over 5 years) no more dry skin or itch. If I get itchy usually means not enough water.
