What's on your menu today ( Tuesday) RNYer
Good afternoon,
QOTD: i drink lots of coffee, no sugar but either low fat milk or cream (just a bit). I have a carbonated flavored water, ICE (17.5 oz), no calories at work and a couple of them at home. Yes, I should be drinking more and have become dehydrated and nothing will satisfy bu****er. In the beginning, I drank nothing bu****er, water, water at room temperature. I wish I had kept up that routine. I will try to drink more water, thanks for the question.
MENU:
Coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee
Breakfast: 1 whole egg and 2 egg whites scrambled with a slice of provolone cheese (deli), and 1/2 cup of sauteed kale greens, topped with hot salsa. Delicious
Lunch: 1 meatball burger (a recipe from Rachael Ray my husband saw a few years ago, he makes them) topped with slice of provolone cheese and marinara sauce.
Dinner: Pizza - bacon or italian sausage, will eat about 3 pieces only the toppings
Snack: Oikos Triple Zero coconut creme yogurt, maybe a handful of almonds.
My weight has been flopping around from 181-182. Weekend was an indulgence day of air popped popcorn at home and some chocolate. I am a bit sad today, reasons, and yes weight is always thrown in there somewhere. It really seems I will never reach this goal. I won't continue to whine, I will just keep trying, thanks for listening

Wow what a busy day. Went to. Sick Children's Hospital in Toronto for a checkup for our son. He has eosophillic esophagitis and had a scope done in October. He's going to need another one now as the also found some inflammation so they want to see how that doing and he's being tested for celiac. He hasn't had symptoms but best if we can catch it early. Hopefully it ends up being nothing.
QOTD- I've had a struggle with water since surgery. It had to be ice cold which makes me cold lol and I have to use drops. I used to love plain water. I get about 60-80 ounces most days plus my protein shake.
B: premier Protein chocolate shake and an egg mcmuffin with no bun and I didn't end up eating the ham because it was too tough.
L: 2 ounces of chicken from my husbands fajitas with a bit of cheese, guac and salsa.
D: Wendy's chilli. I will eat half of it and the rest will be for lunch tomorrow.
S- if I have room will be a protein egg custard.

Good evening... It was nice to actually walk out of the office tonight and see that it is still a little daylight and there was even a flicker of it left when I walked into the house... Hopefully things will settle down so I can enjoy the nice weather when it is here especailly now that I have all this extra energy to spare!
QOTD: I drink anywhere from 64-100 ounces of liquid a day. I start the day with decaf tea or coffee and then switch to cold water at the end of the day I have 16 oz of crystal light. On weekends if I have had a good week I treat myself to one cup of regular coffee and one cup of half caf coffee.
Now for my food for the day:
B: hard boiled egg white, 2 slices of bacon and decaf tea
S: Chibani Flip
L: 2oz ham and slice of cheese
D: 3oz pork and 1/4c green beans

Late post from me today. We had yet another work party today. I totally stuck to my giving up chips for lent. In fact I didn't have chips; or any of the sandwiches or cake they had. I did however eat cookies, too many cookies. What is it with me and foods that start with the letter C?? Well party is over - so time to tuck those memories in the back of my head.
qotd: I get about 64oz or water/day. I loosely track my intake because I'd obsess over it. I drink at least 8oz before breakfast, 40oz over the work day and then I'll drink diet Snapple/ crystal light at home. I'm not if fan of drinking plain water when home. I'm not an overachiever with water.
196.4 today, 22 months out
m1: 3/4c turkey sausage crumbles, 1/2c egg beaters (I'm laying off the cheese on the eggs)
m2: 3oz ham/turkey/cheese 1oz cashews
m3: ~6oz roast chicken dark meat, 3 oz mashed sweet potato
m4: 4.5oz salmon, broccoli carrots

Before surgery I loved cold water and drank about 80 oz + a day. I had to stick to room temperture for about 6 or more months after surgery but am back to cold again and drink almost twice that. I constantly have a bottle I am working on and 4 more in a cooler in the car when I am out and about. I keep the empties and count them at the end of the day. I love my water so I don't really have any amazing tips.

Preparing to get back to work next Monday... have follow up with surgeon Thursday, tomorrow I have a final visit with my counselor (took advantage of my disability to see her LOL). Friday we have our last Girl Scout cookie sale which is exciting (so exhausting to fit all the cookie sales in!). I have to exchange a pair of scrubs so I have another outfit that will fit when I return next week... I'm a medical assistant float so I'm curious to find out where I get placed when I return... but am definitely looking forward to it! Ready to plan my days out, etc.
QOTD: As for water - I used to chug chug chug when I was thirsty. Not being able to do that has been a huge challenge for me. I'm getting a minimum of 50 oz per day, shooting for closer to 70. I really focused on water today and hit 64 ounces before my "nighttime" fluids to take my night meds, etc.
B - fairlife milk with chocolate unjury
S - babybel
L - half cup of ff sf pudding with fairlife and scoop of unflavored unjury
D - .4 cup kirkland chicken tortilla soup with 1/2 of 100 calorie serving of avocado/guac
S - other half of lunch pudding
This puts me at 600 calories which tends to be the highest I've landed since surgery. I've hit that level a few times but seeing the number is weird since I usually am more like 500. That will be an interesting change for me!
