QOTD: First year Post-op I definitely had to schedule my fluid intake 16oz=pre breakfast, 16-24 between breakfast and lunch, etc...to make sure I got it in... When I hit the one year mark I magically could drink normal again.
The further out I get the more warm liquids are King... My center always said you could count all fluids so with my protein drink and coffee and tea I never really had problems getting the numbers in. Now I have to make a point to not just drink coffee and tea. My goal is to get at least 4 cups/1 q****er based liquid in- as I usually need it flavored. For me I will add lemon juice and Diet cranberry... other diluted favorites are Powerade Zero and Bai 5. Total for day is usually a gallon-give or take a little. In the summer I do like to make iced green or black tea and flavor it with the SF syrups- blackberry, peach, etc. So good.
Woke up with a screaming sinus headache today, so have not exercised yet, coffee came first. I forgot to run my humidifier last night. And I am out of Miralax! ack! Trip to Costco happening today.
Food Glorious Food! (Hot sausage and mustard) Ha!
B: Coffee with Fairlife, been on a protein pancake kick since Deanna posted them, Going with SuperShopper's ricotta version today, SF syrup- tried Walden Farms and I like it
L: Egg Crepe filled with cream cheese and lox, topped with everything bagel seasoning
D: At Meeting- usually means inside of some kind of wrap and salad
S: Chocolate chai latte, protein Drink- probably on way out door to meeting, yogurt?
EX: 21-day-fix although I will be honest, I am not feeling it.

The seasoning is something new at Trader Joe's ... So good. I bought an extra bottle the other day in case it is not a permanent item.
The egg crepe is simple. Basically scramble an egg well with some water. Want a little thinner consistency. Use small 6 inch fry pan with lid. Need some kind of fat or spray in the pan. Put your egg in, cook low and slow . You can lift edges in beginning and tilt some egg under. Then just cover and let coo****il cooked through. Once set- slide out if pan into plate-fill and roll.
Today I am going to try it with eggbeaters and see how that works.

LOVE this seasoning! I sprinkled some on cream cheese and didn't miss the bagel. Heavenly. You're probably right about it not being permanent so I better stock up!

Good morning everyone!
I had my interview this morning and I left feeling really good about it. I was way over prepared and I have a lot more experience than the job requires so they didn't ask too much but I was proud of the way I handled it all. The extra confidence I have now was a game changer. I received an email from another company this morning as well so it's a good feeling that there's at least some interest/possible options.
QOTD One of the biggest challenges I face in tracking my water is getting my BF to leave my bottles alone. For months before surgery I tried to get him using his own refillable bottles and stressed how important it would be for me to track my volume but he still sneaks it when he can. Sometimes it's not so obvious so I always aim to drink more just to be safe. Paying attention to my bathroom trips lets me know how I'm doing at keeping up with it. Currently my morning routine is to start with a walk and my 30oz bottle of water. The first few sips in the morning go down a little heavy but once that passes I can drink the same as I did pre op. Once the first bottle is done I move on to my coffee (now with added protein!) and then it's back to plain water throughout the day. I might have another coffee or a tea in the evening but for the most part it's straigh****er all day and night. I aim for 120 oz minimum per day (more on higher activity days), maybe I need to improve on that...
B- coffee w/ 1/2 premier vanilla
L- leftover pork tenderloin
D- ??
S- 1/2 premier, turkey slices-4
Have a great Tuesday!

So years ago, when I was looking for a job, I sent a thank you note (vintage style, with a stamp) to a company and I got the job... my boss eventually told me that my thank you note sent me over the top with the other interviewers...
Nowadays, I send an email... you can almost always call the company and get it if you don't have the email address...
a simple note, thanking them for the opportunity and their time, telling them why you are perfect for the position... short and sweet.
Give it a try, let me know how it goes!!!

Absolutely! I just came back to the computer to type that up. Thanks for the "telling them why you are perfect for the position" part. I'm always afraid of sounding full of myself but that was a good reminder that this isn't the time to hold back.
