You're doing great! I know they have the goals of protein right now that seem so daunting, but honestly, at your point out, I couldn't quite get there either... as long as you try and keep getting the number up a bit every few days, you'll get there!

And kudos to your hubby! I hope he bought them out so you have a good supply to last you for a while! (Can you order it on Amazon? What kind of drink is it?)

It is called Nature's Twist sugar free orangeade. He bought me a case, and we will get some more when we visit his family because they are everywhere around there. Everywhere I found online said sold out.
My goal for right now in protein is 40 g per my office, and liquids is 46oz. Of course those will go up as I get further out.

Good happy Tuesday morning meny gang!! The sun is shining and we are closer to Spring Break here thank goodness ! Mornings are getting harder and harder getting my three up and ready for school.
QOTD- I drink a TON of water and decaf unsweet tea. I always have two 30 oz cups with me. I have one filled with water and one filled with my tea. As soon as one is empty I switch over and pick up the other. If I don't have it readily available I will not drink what I need at all. I prep my drinks just like I prep my foods lol. In my water I use just ice no flavoring. The only flavored water I drink is first thing in the morning with my Miralax and at night with the Miralax. I average 180 oz a day and probably more on the weekends because my kids remind me all the time to drink.
Time since surgery 1 year 145.4 today
B- 1.5 oz left over Pork chop
L- 2 oz Grilled Chicken with ginger sauce
D- 2 oz Ribeye
S- Bacon

While I don't have my own personal cow steak... I've been having a steak withdrawal... and I rummaged around my freezer and even my stockpile is gone. I need a steak week.

If he continues to be weird about the steak, I'll just have to purchase my Sous Vide so I can make those roasts in there into something wickedly scrumptious! Actually... that's really oh so tempting right now!
(So, I have to add this so he doesn't sound like a complete ass... he came from literally nothing growing up, not even hot running water, or an indoor toilet.. and he's only 49yo... he still has issues about food/things in general... I find hidden things in the pantry all the time that eventually go bad because he forgets about them, piles of gift cards he won't use... it's frustrating to deal with, but at least I understand where it comes from... He's very successful now, and we have more than enough, but he still has to hold back - just in case. He'll be great to be with when we're retired, because I am so NOT that person )

Morning menu buddies!
It's supposed to be a really nice day today so I'm hoping to get some yard work done....I want to trim back my roses in front. Normally I would do the ones in back too but I'm planning on removing them so I can use that space for some raised garden beds for veggies and such.
QOTD: Getting water in is a challenge for me...one of my medicines makes me really really thirsty and you'd think that would help but it's also my ADHD medicine so when I take it I'm really focused on the task at hand and I don't drink as often as I should so I really have to concentrate on it. I have a 24oz sports bottle that I carry around with me everywhere and I aim to fill it up at least 4 times a day. Currently I love ice-water and SF cran the most.
