Just got my blood work back
Again, perhaps re read this thread. VS saving a post for posterity so if someone gets really sick you can say 'nya nya told you so' (I mean what sort of person does that!?)
As a recap. Yes I thought the numbers looked not bad initially. This is why I posted them to get second and third options whilst waiting for my appointment.
So let us see:
Rocky and Kat insisted the ferritin levels were low despite being in the 'normal range'. I listened and asked if my lack of concentration could be linked. The reply was yes. That is most helpful and I will be talking to my Dr about that. I also agreed that if I needed an infusion I would take one as scary as that would be. So in that part of this thread I agreed with their concern and asked further questions (not dismissing them)
NHPOD9 and Ashley the Tokyoite Hag suggested I track my own information. I thought that was such an amazing idea I used an emoticon to show how much I loved that plan. (seriously how much more can I show my appreciation lol)
Grim Traveler comment on values related to my calcium. I replied with agreed concern and said I was doing better taking my calcium and will continue to stay on top of that because I do NOT want brittle bones.
You know what they say about assuming.. perhaps if you think a member is not taking something as seriously as you think they should. Or they are not reacting in a way you think you would in their place you could try asking. Either in the thread or a PM. Say hey I am not sure you are taking this seriously.. this is your health. People react differently, it is hard to read tone through text. Perhaps try looking for clarity before being passive aggressive and promising to make fun of a member if they get sick.

I didn't " promise" to do anything, much less make fun of someone who is sick.
We Have seen this happen more than once and it is helpful for those coming along later to have the full thread for context.
Also you might want to do a quick look before you go off the rails at someone. I posted this thread earlier today http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/on/6017897/What-do-you-all -take-for-iron-and-how-much/ so you can see that I did take this thread seriously.
I personally have been on forums for years. This one is pretty tame and I have really thick skin. But acting out like this could chase off newbies who might really need this forum and the support.

nobody acting out here but you... See you have already gotten your panties in a wad, thick skin and all. I am perfectly calm.
No panties in a wad here, again with the assuming.. tsk tsk. (sadly this actually great fun and reminds me of forum drama when I was young and everything mattered so much!)
I have not threatened anyone in this thread but you did. You said I was going to get horrible neurological problems and you wanted to have ammo to rub it in my face. You didn't want to help me avoid these problems.. no you openly admitted you wanted it there for 'posterity' so you could gloat or say 'hahaha I was right.' Just how is this useful to anyone, me or the forum? Wasn't there just drama a few days ago that made people leave. Are you for some reason trying to get me to leave?
This is not the behavior of a rational person. You may or may not be calm. But you sure do sound incredibly vindictive. I have never done a thing to you that should warrant this.
I have explained myself with examples. I have stated how much I have appreciated what people have said. I have given you 'outs' so you could leave graciously. None of this is 'good enough' for you. Perhaps your goal is just to sow dissent, at this point I have no idea. I have pointed out your behavior is such it might put off people who NEED this site. But you don't seem to care. But you do care that I haven't shown the right (what ever that is) level of appreciation for what people have said in this thread.
You don't seem to be in my thread to offer anything constructive, just threats, insults and insinuations so as much fun as this has been (seriously, a walk down nostalgia's misty path) I am done talking with you. At least until you decide to act like a rational person.
