Enjoy Orlando--71 sounds divine! This morning when I left the house there was a "real feel" of -3... I can't do it anymore. I need you, Spring!
Good morning,
I had a good weekend. I found out my ex boyfriend passed away last week.
QOTD I tried to bargain shop when I can.
Late b spinach, orange pepper, ham and cheese omelet and stringcheese
My friend called and wants to take me out for a early dinner. I'll probably have steak, grilled mushrooms and sweet potato.
S Greek yogurt, turkey sausage snack sticks and honeycrisp apple
Have a great day
How weird to find out an ex has passed away... I'm sorry. Even though you're not with him, I bet it's still a very surreal feeling...

Good morning all!! Sooooooo happy to see everyone here today, you've been seriously missed!!!
It was 30 degrees this morning, but will warm up to a sunny 60. I miss warm weather, hurry up summer!! Sometimes I actually look forward to coming into work on a Monday morning and today is one of them. Call me crazy, I love my job and my routine.
So, silly new NSV - My car seat springs don't squeak anymore when I go over bumps, ha!
QOTD - I love a good deal, but it has to be quality. I don't have the patience for thrift or discount stores, but I can go all day online comparing prices and finding the best quality for the cheapest price! I've been known to have so many tabs open you can't even tell what they are!
15 week since surgery

Good morning Daizy and Crew!
QOTD: I am totally an impulse shopper. Love a good deal though, so don't usually buy anything if it is not on sale. And shopping for clothes has become my new addiction. I have an entirely new wardrobe currently... and although I tried to do the consignment thing it just is not me. First time in my life that I can buy things that I love and I just want them to be mine first, not someone else's first. I did buy four tops about two months after surgery, but I hate them. Probably they will go back to the consignment store with everything else I offed...
B: Fairlife with coffee and Miralax, Premier Protein Banana
L: Dannon greek peach, salad with lite ranch, turkey jerky 1 oz
D: Chicken taco meat with salad, shredded cheese and salsa
S: Egg custard made with Fairlife and sf jam (thanks again Daizy), diet cran pineapple with water, Laughing Cow lite wedges x 2, turkey jerky 1 oz
Totals: 732 calories 105 protein 39 carbs 22 fat
It is once again snowing here. I am so very tired of driving in the snow, slush and ice. But at least now I could climb out of my car if I ran into a ditch... and a rescuer could maybe carry me. There's that.
Have a great day everyone!

I wish I had the patience to turn all of my clothes BACK into a consignment store! Currently, I've given away 90%, and the rest sits in bags in my bedroom... there are a few pieces in there that I know I could re-sale... but dang, while I can hunt the racks for hours at thrift stores, I can't seem to find the time to get them into a consignment shop for some extra $$.

I don't do resale. I just put them in bags and drop them off at Goodwill. I tried shopping at one of the higher-end consignment shops but I just cannot do it. Macy's almost ALWAYS has a sale going these days, and it just thrills me no end to be in the normal section. I still want to tell everyone around me that I am allowed to be there. And I have been known to take pictures of the label showing it to be a Large or Medium ;)

I was looking around the Junior section at Kohl's the other day... there was another lady there, and honestly, somewhere inside of me I got uncomfortable in my mind, thinking she was judging me for being there (how could that fat lady even shop over here??!)... then I had to remind myself that, if indeed, I was being judged, it was by my age, not my size! LOL
I went shopping with a friend last Friday at these little boutique shops in the neighboring town... and I was gobsmacked (I love that word), that everything I bought (on sale mind you) was a SMALL! I'm perplexed because what do skinny people wear if I'm wearing a SMALL at these places??? I was reminded that I am not big anymore... and OK, I'll buy that... but I'm not a SMALL person!

I'm glad you like the egg custards! I made some with premier Protein this weekend. I didn't add any additional sweetener and it could have used some. They are good- not quite as good as the first batch though.

Good morning, all! It's great to see some of our vets have rejoined in conversations! My oh my how worried was I!
QOTD: I could totally be an impulse shopper, but I tend to be more conservative. There are a few things that I spend the extra on. These things include coffee, laundry detergent, dish soap, etc. I buy the products that I know work for me and my family. As for clothes....Goodwill, Wal-Mart, Facebook clothing sites, garage sales, friends, et****il I get down to a size and am happy and stay there, this will continue.
