Good morning everyone!

I have to admit that I have been pretty busy preparing for my trip.

I have noticed that our vets (regular) posters haven't posted in a while.

Did I miss something? Are they away.

Miss their ongoing support and recommendations.

Guess I am in with drawal...

I have no idea what happened; I just noticed this forum suddenly became very quiet and a lot of people changed their names to "deactivated members" but still posted. Now they aren't posting. It's a shame, and I hope that whatever happened, the moderators can fix it because we've lost all of our veterans.

Well i'm not sure, but I think some postings on here between some members were put into question. The moderator got involved and slapped wrists. To bad all around because the whole thing has left a bad taste in my mouth (funny quip for this forum lol).

Im looking at different places/forums. In one way it's nice to feel like a so called "family" here but obviously we are not. There are members here new and old that are very aware of what is going on, lucky them. I've been reassured by a newer member that "they have it on good authority that the vets are coming back".

For me to little to late. Keep your circle of friends. I'm looking for real support not drama

peace out OH

This happens EVERY few years. It happens on every public forum. There is really no way to avoid it. People get snarky, or tone is put onto words that are not intended.

Generally forums are a good source of information- a good source of initial support, but long term, you will need to develop a support system outside of forums.
