What's on your Menu today? (Sunday)
Definitely no more beans today ( said as I pick individual lentils out of the bowl )
chai tea lattes
low fat jarlsberg cheese ... God knows why I bought it but I must have had fat cravings.. a slice or two nibbled slowly
citracal huperzine tonalin and multi vitamins
one bowls worth of curried Lentil stew
have no idea what I'll eat next - suspect it'll be kale broccoli cabbage ginger garlic scallions in pad Thai or warm peanut sauce of course very low fat
eventually my wine spritzers
i caught and bathed the half dead very old cat last nite before the weather went to ten degrees ( was afraid he'd die and freeze .. or freeze and die ) I had no idea s much dirt ( and caked on feces ugh could wash off of one animal )
This morning he was feeling ( better ) feisty and hissed at me threw himself against the door so I let him out . He's now happily occupying the heating pad / cat bed situation on the front porch and licking a butter stick .. :)
Morning!! I was supposed to work today but the person I was supposed to work with decided not to- so I skipped it too. I went on my run instead, and just finished breakfast. Wegmans reminded me why I don't do recipes... cause I'm greedy and would eat it all up. They had baked oatmeal yesterday for samples. I liked it so bought a muffin-top size serving they sold. If I'd have bought the bigger package it'd be gone by this afternoon. Recipes are invitation to overeat-- even if it's heathy- in my world.
I'm also on a chocolate consumption hiatus that I'm literally taking it hour by hour-- that's how weeks I am. 16 hours so far and no chocolate has passed my lips.
Qotd: I listen to rap when I exercise-- the storytelling of it keeps me deep in thought-- and the high beats per minute keeps me moving. Eminem, black eyes peas, Michael Jackson, Rihanna, jay-z, 50cent, Nas, Dr Dre are just a sample of who is in my running playlist. My absolute favorite run song is Pump it by Black Eye Peas. I can do a 9 minute mile when that's on!

My first post here!! Im a lurker, reading almost everything, but I do not post much, english is my ESL.

I decided that I have to start posting to keep myself on track, because bad habits are creeping back (crakers here and there bit of this or that), thank God they are making me sick, I'VE check too much carbs and sweets are making me sick not dumping but really sick.

Welcome! Congratulation on your success and for catching those bad habits trying to sneak back in. It's a good reminder for the rest of us to stay vigilant.

Good morning everyone!
It's right back to winter temps here too, no snow but super cold. We were out late last night and traveled an hour from home which made the night even longer. Lots of little things planned for the day today, some house cleaning stuff and a few small errands out of the house. There's a lot on my schedule for the next few days and I'll take some time today to make sure I'm ready for all of it.
QOTD I don't listen to music when I'm outside walking, I usually talk to myself during that time. It helps me clear my head and work through stuff. When I'm working out in the house I might have the radio or TV on but I don't have specific songs I listen to. I will use the TV to motivate me by doing whatever workout I'm doing while a show is on and then changing it up during commercials (go up and down the stairs repeatedly or jump on the bike and pedal hard for X minutes kinda thing)
I'm going to try getting protein in earlier in the day. I don't usually put anything beyond coffee and water down there until lunch time but at the meeting yesterday they talked about the importance of getting protein in in the morning to kick start your metabolism. I'll start by split up a protein shake so I have some early and keep some for throughout the day. We'll see how that goes.
B- coffee w/sf hazelnut, some protein shake
L- turkey slices and grainy mustard
D- pork tenderloin and zoodles
S- skyr with protein powder and PB2, the rest of the protein shake
Totals 508 cal, 89g protein, 13g carbs
Have a great Sunday!
I have no idea where my original comment went but so Erin doesn't look like a crazy person with her response I'll re post it here...
Now I'm desperate to keep reading in the hopes that another other song will soon remove Pumped Up Kicks in my brain. Lol

It is... but to be fair I don't think it had too much competition, I mean I couldn't name the second catchiest upbeat tune about mass shootings.
