Not preggers, I meant that I got the pillow back when I was used to sleeping on my side from when I'd been pregnant

My kiddo is hands-down the most wonderful thing I've ever done, and the hardest thing I've ever done!

I have been contemplating what to do about my wedding rings. I have already almost lost them twice (but luckily found them) and that was before surgery. So I am not wearing them at the moment. I don't want to get them resized until I am done resizing. So I am thinking of putting them on a chain around my neck or buying a fake ring as a place holder. But definitely don't want to risk loosing them!

Yeah I definitely don't want to lose mine so they're going to be put away until I'm ready to resize them....I'll get a cheapo replacement in the meantime!

I went to the local jewelry store and got a ring sizer because other than surgery I have never taken my wedding rings off and when I woke up that was one of the first things I asked for! It is a little uncomfortable but it is better than yarn or thread which gets wet.

Good Morning Everyone!

Thanks for starting us off, Insert Fitness!

QOTD: My main reason for doing the surgery was for health reasons. I didn't realize that being MO was what was causing me to be so hot all the time. Now I'm a normal temperature and not sweating all the time. I also was pleasantly surprised at how much more energy I have. And how my back and knees and feet don't hurt like they used to. I thought it was just arthritis and nothing would help it, but it was due to me being MO.

B: bacon & spinach egg frittata

L: homemade chili

D: toppings off a pizza

S: Light n Fit Greek yogurt

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks

Exercise: Walking Blossom around the subdivision.

Have a WONDERFUL day everyone!

Morning pouch pals! I've gotta say I woke up feeling particularly fabulous this morning. And when I was in the shower I was oddly surprised as I washed my side to feel so much of my rib cage. The scale is higher then where I'm comfortable but I feel so thin today.

I've been on my run, and am at bowling with the younger kid. No real plans today- focusing hard on my intake to get back down to my comfort zone. I just spilled 1/2 of a protein shake I bought to try out. (Rockin refuel-chocolate) Figured that I actually liked it-- ugh!

Qotd: unexpected perk of weight loss: I was just loooking at the recycling bin in our house thinking wow- those are A lot of water bottles. My older son has moved to drinking only water- and my younger is trying. My younger loves to workout with me too. I didn't expect them to adapt healthy habits, but I'm so proud they are seeing it in practice from me.

Good morning all -

QOTD : I have not yet had surgery but the things I used to like the least about my job I am now enjoying. I do deliveries around a very large plant and I never looked forward to that part of the day. I actually like it now. Another unexpected perk is that my best friend has lost 20 pounds since the middle of October. By seeing me eat better she started eating better too.

just a drive-by because this organization I'm on the board of has a luncheon today, and I need to get there early. We went out to dinner with our speakers (for the luncheon) last night. Boy did I blow it. I ate mostly healthy things (except for three bites of this decadent dessert), but WAY too many calories. This better be a really healthy, low calorie weekend!!

QOTD: the biggest surprise was that I don't get many headaches anymore, and the ones I have are usually pretty weak. As in weak enough that Tylenol takes care of them. I used to get pretty bad (and frequent) ones. My doctor thinks it may have been from undiagnosed sleep apnea.

21 months out

B: Triple Zero coconut yogurt, 12 raspberries, 1 T Kashi crunch granola

S: coffee with half and half

L: roast turkey, salad, green bean almondine

D: pork chop, cole slaw made with miso-sesame vinaigrette
