What's on your menu today RNYer?(Saturday)
Yesterday I just could not stomach the idea of any more meat or even fish .
So I made " crack " curried lentils from the recipe forum ... oh boy were they great ( and usually I hate lentils )
i ate four bowlfuls ( maybe eight cups ) over the course of the day - half the recipe
and had my usual wine spritzers
wasnt really interested in eating more fruit or veg .. weird
this morning my tummy hurts a bit ... maybe I overdid the beans but they sure were tasty and just what I craved
Erin my menu looks like yours. But mainly because I'm working today. We are swamped at work so there's overtime. Fortunately I'm able to work from home and the extra money will come in handy for our trip next month.
QOTD: I'm not sure tbh. I've been smaller than I am right now twice before. But maybe it's the confidence that the weight is definitely coming off this time. Even when I get frustrated with the scale and think I'm the only person this surgery isn't gong to work for, I still know in my heart that it's working and will continue to work.
Thanks for getting us started today!
B: protein shake
L: not sure
D: Chicken with alfredo- if it goes down okay.
S: Last egg custard. I will definitely be making more of these!

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
I need to google that egg custard recipe!
good luck with the overtime.

Choosing to eat a morning breakfast of leftover beef has me thinking it will be the best protein of the day. A deli salad lunch break from shopping is the lunch plan. Unlike you, I am on the farm heading to the city. Qotd: seeing positive changes in family is one of the nicest perks but I won't think of an unexpected perk til stepping away from this computer. EDITED to add Qotd: my hair used to need a shampooing daily, not anymore.
Morning weekenders!
I typically don't post on the weekends but I've really enjoyed the forums this week and our little group that is carrying on despite a few missing pieces. No big plans this weekend - my hubby is coming home tonight and I am thrilled for that, we've missed him! Today I think I'm going to go in search of a better pillow, my neck is killing me this morning. When I got the current pillow I was primarily a side sleeper (a result of being pregnant and getting used to that position)...well now I'm more omnidirectional, or at the very least a side/stomach sleeper.
QOTD: As of this morning I'm down 30lbs from my highest - so while I haven't had my revision yet I'm still enjoying some of the perks but I don't think I have any unexpected ones yet. It's mostly things like...my wedding ring fits again, and I don't have to use an extender on my bra strap anymore.
Menu:
B: Greek Yogurt w/Decaf Coffee
L: Leftover Chicken Meatballs/Baked Chicken
D: TBD - probably more leftovers!
Have a great day guys!
