Good morning menu gang!! I am freezing this morning!! Thank you Daizymom for doing the thread this week you have done an amazing job!
Time since surgery 11 months 146.2 this morning!!!!!!
B- 1/2 Scrambled egg and 1 piece of bacon
L- 2 oz Grilled chicken breast
D- 2 oz of Ribeye
S- BACON!!!!
My menu is boring but it's working!

Thank you so much for keeping the daily menu thread going. I always read it, but don't always post. Its supposed to be rainy here today. I am going to clean the garage. I am in clean mode! So ready for spring.
QOTD- I am looking forward to summer! Lots of campaign trips and just getting away. My kids are getting older and I love being able to just go away with my hubby.

D-baked fish
S- maybe a shake if I need to bump up my protein.

Feeling better each day here! My photo is of my bag of ice from Sonic that I went and bought this morning. It made me very happy! :) Here is a question for you...how do I measure my ounces of liquid when doing ice?
QOTD: Something I am looking forward to is vacation this summer! We are going to Disney World again this year. Last year we only did 2 days in Magic Kingdom but this year will be a much longer trip so I am probably just as excited as my daughter!
Menu: Once again just trying to get down as much liquids as possible and more protein than yesterday. As I said it is getting a little easier each day....I can't say thank you enough for all of your tips and support over the last couple of days!

If you want to be really precise, you could weigh it if you have a scale, liquid ounces of water are almost the same as its pound weight (this doesnt work for every liquid fyi)
But if the ice is pretty small, you could pop it in a measuring cup? something like ice chips i think its close enough.

I am looking forward to surgery, and then spring it's my favorite time of the year.
Day 5 Pre-op diet
2 protein shakes
4.5 ounces chicken breast
2 cup riced cauliflower and broccoli
2 cups low sodium chicken broth
2 sugar free Jelly-o cups
Calories - 731, Protein - 119, Carbs - 33
My picture is of the shake I will be having later. I won't eat again now until get up this afternoon.

I logged in all day yesterday ready to post but it seems OH had some server issues letting me into anything but the homepage or my profile. Also, I've been gone too long and too often. Where are the vets? What did i miss?
Lent started with ash wednesday. Here are the things i'm commiting to for the next 40days.
- Join a new gym next to the new job and attend at least 2 (1hr) classes a week (1 cardio, 1 resistance)
- STAY ON PLAN. I'm finding myself being a little too "flexible" these days and i need to get back on the wagon
- Stop shopping for clothes (Before goal, unless thrifting) or house things (the new home is not built yet!)

D: 2-3oz Hawaiian Chicken Thigh & Broccoli
S: No Sugar added Swiss Miss, and Fudgecicle (been craving chocolate lately)
Calories: 893, Carbs 44, Fat 38, Protein 93
