What's on your menu today (Photo Friday!) RNYers?
Oops ! Sorry I wasn't criticizing anyone nor implying alcohol's ok post op .
I'm an experiment- we'll see if my liver fails or I live to 199 like I hope to lol .
Regarding protein shakes - I got a little frustrated with the daily menus on the lite weights board cuz they're so protein powder heavy ( there's no doubt protein powder keeps some regain away or helps you lose a little more by keeping hunger away)
I'm a bit surprised to see posters doing the same here .. but the postings being newbie heavy explains a lot .
Good Morning Daizymom and Menu Family!
It's supposed to be 60 degrees here in Nebraska today and I'm so looking forward to that!
QOTD: I'm looking forward to Spring and Summer!
My breakfast this morning is a Jimmy Dean bacon & spinach egg frittata. I haven't microwaved it yet, so it still has frost on it in the picture.
B: bacon & spinach egg fritatta
L: homemade chili
D: hot dog with cheese
S: Light n Fit Greek yogurt
S: prosciutto & mozarella cheese sticks
Exercise: Walking Blossom around the subdivision
Have a wonderful day everyone!

gearing up for a busy weekend. I have a hair appt on Sunday. I've actually been thinking about having it cut short - I haven't had short hair in years (I usually keep it shoulder length or slightly above). I like it this length, but it's so fine and flat. Hmmm...
QOTD: taking a road trip to NC next week (although it'll be bittersweet since it's to see my father, who's a hospice patient). Also, finding out which group I'll be assigned to in this 10-month research study I'm in (should find out next week!!)
21 months out today!!
B: homemade Greek yogurt, raspberries
S: coffee with half & half, SF protein/fiber strawberry cheesecake shake
L: 1/2 chicken crack wrap (with spinach & tomatoes on 1/2 Flat Out wrap), orange
D: not sure - going out with this board I'm on. The only choices on the menu that look bariatric-friendly and aren't outrageously expensive are deviled eggs and this Thai soup, so one of those..
maybe a L&F Greek yogurt later
here's my lunch from yesterday. It'll be the same lunch today (the other half of the wrap, plus an orange....)
you may be OK. I worried about that a lot, but I lost little to none. I thought I was noticing more hair strands than usual in my comb when I got to be 4-5 months out, but I was never sure if I was actually losing hair or if it was my imagination (because I *expected* to be losing hair). Suffice it to say, if I lost any, it wasn't much. Whew. So you may be safe - hard to tell unless/until it starts happening!
