Lol I hear ya. Although I was 230lbs, I was active. I had my surgery in October, so 4 months ago. I couldn't believe how exhausted I was. It was so hard to get all those liquids in. I felt like a person who never walked a mile in her life before! Lol. If you are walking and being that active after surgery I think you need to make sure you are at least getting your liquids.

Keeep us posted as i'm sure there are many *****ad posts for info but might not post their thoughts. Good luck, and congratulations on your new journey

I was just the opposite, I could not lay down at all for the first 2 weeks. I had to sleep in my recliner. It funny how everyone has different effects. Go you for walking 3 miles! My mobility is still very limited due to a fracture in one knee and major arthritis in the other knee. I do manage to get to the pool to swim laps sometimes.

Yes, it will definitely get better!

that liquid colace definitely tastes better refrigerated-if you haven't tried that already.

Good morning guys

Thanks for keeping up the thread. What do you guys think of the site changes? When I sat down at my computer and pulled up OH it was all new and shiny...I actually like them thus far.

I'm quite sore this morning....and not because I was an exercise queen yesterday, no it's because I attempted to pick up a sculpting tool off the floor yesterday without actually getting out of my chair and guess what....I fell out of my chair . I landed on my hip/butt, and nothing is broken....just bruised, like my dignity. At least the only ones to witness my graceful moment were the cats

In other news....I got my approval yesterday! I finally got annoyed and called the insurance company because I hadn't heard squat and it's been a month. I'm approved, which means this liver shrinking diet isn't in vain (not that it would be anyways because you know...healthy is the goal).

QOTD: I'm a Sagittarius...I don't follow Astrology, but years and years ago my best friend called me up on my birthday to read me what the horoscope said....it talked about how change was coming, a big move, and I had a a good friend I could lean on....I forget what else exactly. Anyways...I was indeed moving, and the friend I leaned on for support in a new place where I barely knew anyone ended up becoming my husband a couple years later (also he was the friend who called to tell me about the horoscope...and he doesn't follow it either). I still have that paper tucked in a keepsake box in the closet...mushy, I know!

Menu:

B: Premier Protein Shake, Decaf coffee w/FF 1/2 and 1/2

S: Deli Meat w/Babybel cheese

L: Leftover Skim Ricotta Bake

S: Cottage Cheese/Peaches

D: Chicken Meatballs w/veggies

Have a great day guys!

I felt so silly....like really I should have just put my feet on the floor (it's a drafting chair for my studio table so it's tall) and gotten the darn thing, but no....I just had to try and be all acrobatic

and THANK YOU....It's such a relief!
