It's a great morning isn't it?? All kinds of stress going on in my life, but I'm walking on a cloud right now!! It's been 100 days since surgery, I hit 249 this morning which equals a 60 pound loss, my BMI went from 53 to 42 and last night at Target I walked by a mirror and did not recognize myself, I could not believe that was me! Having WLS was best decision I've ever made!!

QOTD - I agree with you Teena, hands down - my iPhone. I rely on it for everything and it's a wonderful tool but its sadly I spend way too much time on it.

100 days since surgery

249 yay!!

b-coffee w/heavy cream and splenda

b2-light string cheese, almonds

l-LF salami w/mustard

d-baked chicken thigh

v/l - getting better

e -treadmill

Happy day everyone!!!

QOTD: I would say my phone, but I left the house without it last week and though I felt naked, I was okay without it LOL I think it's going to have to shift for me to be water and/or the foods I plan to eat while I'm not home... ready to become the planner again! Even got a cute thermal tote to put it all in LOL

Today I am wrapping up a fundraiser sale I'm coordinating for Rare Disease Day - my nephew has a diagnosis that only approx 300 people in the world have and there is a group that helps with research funds/studies and awareness so I got a group of gals together that all do what I do (LulaRoe) to have a fundraising sale. Hoping we raised enough to have the company match (they only match if you get to the $100 mark and the sale was slower than we'd like).

B - fairlife skim milk and scoop unjury chocolate

S - first half cup of ff sf pudding made with unflavored unjury and fair life milk

L - refried beans with bit of salsa and cheese on top - 1/4 cup max - I usually can't fini**** all!

S - other half of pudding

D - ricotta bake - 1/4 cup max - this I did finish last night LOL

S - a light and fit greek yogurt if I need the protein to bump me up to my goal.

E - 10k steps goal - have hit it at least 5 days a week for the last three weeks

V - opurity optimized for bypass patients and calcium citrate chews in lemon flavor

Hey Ya'll:

So glad the temperatures are still mild - but - I know it's just a tease, winter will return again.

QOTD: my iPhone - not for personal use; but, it's the fastest way for bosses and family to reach me - I'm not always at my desk and take the phone to various meetings.

Challenges:  My surgeon's assistant wants me to adopt a ketogenic lifestyle. at 5'4" my goals are: at least 94 grams of protein/ 23 net carbs/ 70 to 84 fat grams  -- I was just reading that in order for the body to process protein efficiently, one must consume at least 30 grams at a time.  Boy oh Boy is that a challenge with the itty bitty tummy!!

Menu today:

Breakfast: Nectar Protein Coffee
Snack: Coffee with half and half
Lunch: Ham, Bacon, Provolone with a little lettuce; topped with mayo, oil & vinegar
Snack: Jay Robb Protein Shake
Dinner: Hobo Stew
The past couple days I'm failing on my liquids.

Challenges: understanding the keto stuff and trying to implement it when I really, really, really do not ever want to eat.
