What's on your menu today ( Wednesday) RNYers?
I also had a terrible time with water post-op. Nothing - cold, warm, icy, worked for me. DD2 finally shared that I could use a splash of Diet Cran drink (lots of flavor varieties) to put in with water and it changed everything for me. I still use it six months later. Plain water: yuck. Couple of ounces of diet cran drink in it: yum. I especially love the cran-pineapple and cran-mango. 5 calories per cup.
Keep at it - it will get better but you do really have to get your liquid in, or not only will you get dehydrated, but poops will suffer. And, you need water to lose weight ;)
Oh, how I hated the crushed Tylenol. I finally found the liquid Tylenol at Walgreens. The only worse crushed pill was the Senakot my surgeon had me on. Thankfully crushing pills only lasted two weeks for me.
You can do this! Sending good thoughts your way! You are on the road and it is such a great ride!!!!!

Crystal Light in the water works well for some people who can't get plain water down (it did for me). It's not just the taste, it changes something else about the water consistency (can't remember what it is called).

too many calories the last two days. Feeling like a bloated mess this morning. Not sure if it was the calories or just the result of too much sodium (or full intestines!). At least this bloat will make it easier to stay on track today!!

Good morning!
It's wet, warm and foggy here too. It's been staying in the 80's but I think we are supposed to get a front that's going to drop us into the 60's.
QOTD: I guess my phone but it depends on where I'm going and who I'm with. If I'm going to work then I won't turn back for anything. I have everything I need at work. I forgot my phone 3 times in the last 7 days! If I'm leaving the house to go out and about I will turn back for my phone just so I have a way to be reached if my husband is not with me. All the same for my fitbit. I HATE forgetting it but I won't be late for work because of it.
B - Coffee with creamer
L1 - Sweet sue chicken pouch
L2 - Beef fajitas
S - cheese stick
D - not sure how I will cook it but it's going to be ground beef something.
