What's on your menu today ( Monday) RNYers?
Good morning everyone! It's Monday blaaaaa....
We were at the ball field Friday, Saturday & Sunday! It was a really good weekend and I never cheated or felt tempted. There was plenty of chili cheese fries, fried mozzarella and chicken strips being consumed all around me and I didn't even stare lol! I took protein bars, beef jerky, cheese sticks, nuts and yogurt.

Good morning all! It is snowing here again, but not really sticking. It has been doing that on and off all weekend. Since it's Oregon, it will just melt and turn to rain later today. I saw an ad on television over the weekend promoting Oregon and it suggested residents look at all the rain as "green" rain since it is what keeps our state full of evergreens and so beautiful. Well, that's putting a positive spin on things!
QOTD: I wish I were a writer. Mysteries or horror. I think I could do it, too. The problem is that unless you hit it big, the money is not necessarily that great AND you have to be able to support yourself in other ways while you establish yourself as a writer. Years ago a friend and I met weekly and edited each other's books we were each writing. It was fun and motivating. I knew I needed to get the writing done as she would be waiting for pages to edit each week. At the end, she rewrote hers, using my edits, and eventually got it published. I never got around to publishing mine. My Mom got brain cancer around that time, my marriage was headed for divorce, and I was taking LSATS in order to get into law school. Within 2 years, my Mom had died, my marriage had ended, and I was in law school, which is GRUELING. Then I was a lawyer, then remarried, then a mother of 1, no 2, no FOUR little kids...Somehow I never got back to that book. I still think about it, though. I think about writing short stories to get started. I have ideas that have been roaming around in my head. But I am GOOD at what I do now, and I do not dislike it. It gives me a sense of pride and makes me decent money. But being an author. Yeah. That would rock.

Then it kind of gets iffy. I am working from home today after my AM 3 month appointments post surgery. I have plenty of healthy options in the fridge. I have a board meeting tonight so something portable for dinner, probably.

Oops, my phone ate my post. Good morning, thanks for starting the thread. I'm on vacation so posting my phone this week so I won't have totals and all that listed and some of my menu will be TBD.

I have a LOT of loose skin already. It just starts to pool in places that are uncomfortable... even though I have always maintained that I will not have plastics, I understand now. When I sit, the extra at the bottom of my behind kind of folds up and sometimes I have to change positions. What a ride.

I'm in the office today for the second time since PS. Long day as I left at 5:15 am and won't return home until 7 pm (tax appointment after work).
QOTD: My dream job now is retirement which will happen at the end of 2017 at the latest. I have also worked for an insurance company for about 40 years and am currently a "Managing Director" in the large commercial property underwriting department. For the most part I have always enjoyed my job and the challenges it has provided, but I'm done with the stress and politics.
