What's on Your Saturday Menu, RNYers?
on 2/25/17 9:05 am
I'm going to get everything for your Orange Julius. Sounds yummy!
Good morning JB and crew!
QOTD: This is actually not my recipe, one of the vets here passed it on to me but LOVE it. One scoop Syntrax Fuzzy Navel, 1/2 cup plain kefir, 1/2 cup high protein milk or water, ice, dash of vanilla. Blend. Makes kind of an orange julius kind of shake. So good, and 31 grams of Protein! Another favorite is heated up Premier Protein chocolate shake with coffee.
B: Fairlife with miralax and coffee, Fuzzy Navel orange julius thing
L: Dannon greek peach
D: Chicken taco salad
S: leftover chicken parmesan 2 oz, diet cran cherry with water
Totals: 672 Calories. 79 Protein 49 Carbs 20 Fat
192 this morning! I have my (early) 6-month checkup on Tuesday. So excited! And cannot believe I am almost 6 months out. What a wild ride...
Have a great Saturday!
Glad you love my Orange Julius. When I was losing I always tried to make sure my protein drinks had 30g of protein.
If you don't mind warm premier protein at night all last winter I would do warm premier with a splash of milk, and some SF peppermint syrup. So yummy.
This winter my obsession at night is warm Chocolate chai latte which is basically 1/2 chai tea and 1/2 hot chocolate made with cashew milk, cocoa powder, vanilla and sweetener. Lately though if I feel like I need the protein, I've been using the chocolate premier and just adding extra vanilla and sweetener. yummmmm

This orange Julius drink is something I'm going to have to try! Like you, I want to keep my shakes around 30g of protein at this point.

Hello JB and everyone,
Well it was really really nice outside until about 2 minutes ago and now its getting ready rain but that's ok cause we can use all the rain we can get. CT is still in a severe drought.
I can't wait to get out to the grill tomorrow and grill up the 2'' rib eye steak I bought today at the butcher. I got great deal, it was on sale for $7.99 lb with the bone in which is just fine with me cause there is nothing better than gnawing on a steak bone!
QOTD: Sorry newbies, I don't have any wonderful concoctions for you. I was very happy with Dymatize double chocolate, Pure protein chocolate and banana, Isopure, Bariatric advantage banana, and Syntrax assorted flavors.
JB, the Unjury vanilla powder with the Torani black cherry sounds really yummy!
B: 2 eggs, 2 slices bacon, 1/2 slice cheese
L: 3oz turkey breast
The rest of the day is unplanned but it will be all protein
Enjoy the rest of your day everybody!

Hello, my awesome OH family! Happy Saturday!
today it is in the very low 20's BUT I will happily accept it because it has been in the negatives a lot lately up here in AK so 20's (even though I'm still cold) is a win in my book!
NSV for me today also! I've been really struggling lately so I just feel like I have to share this with somebody because it feels so darn good to be able to say it. This morning I took the dogs out for a walk with my hubby and we usually only do one big loop but today I decided that I was going to try to run/jog some of it and even though it was hard for me and cold outside I just sucked it up and did it! I put my running playlist on and it was so motivating that I asked Zach if we could do an extra lap! I never would have thought I'd be able to do that or WANT to do that. I was so happy to finally feel like I'm in control while I was running that I was almost crying haha. So to anyone who is struggling - I say this to you: keep it up, YOU ARE IN CONTROL NOW AND NOBODY CAN TAKE THAT FROM YOU. This is your chance to change you life :)
B: syntrax cappuccino shake
S: americano with a TINY splash of cream
L: syntrax dragon fruit shake (haven't tried this one yet!)
S: tbd
D: grilled chicken tenderloin with a tiny bit of Buffalo sauce
V: patches - d3/calcium, iron, multi and a biotin tablet
E: see above lol!
Hope everyone is having an amazing weekend
