Good morning everyone!

We had an active thunderstorm last night, lightening and all, and today it's once again unseasonably warm. I took the dog out this morning without my coat. February in Canada, eh?? 

We're expecting friends to stop by tonight so today will be cleaning, laundry and getting all my exercise done before they get here. My motivation has taken a sharp decline this week, it's like a mini hangover from the high of reflecting back on my 3 months post op last week. Meh. I'll get it back, can't stay "up" forever. 

QOTD I don't get too adventurous with the shakes. I've used the premier but usually I'm just mixing powder with water and adding a little ice. Some flavours I prefer with almond milk but I mainly stick with the water. I have a few of the Torani SF syrups but there's something about the artificial sweeteners I can't get a taste for.

B- coffee w/sf vanilla creamer (missing the hazelnut really bad)

L- leftover roast

D- chicken and guacamole

S- protein shake, ??

Good morning all - 

My scale finally moved again.  I hit 299.8 on 2/11  and then it didn't stay , it decided to go back up.  Then I had a bad eating day a couple days later (2/14) and up it went again.  It finally came back down.  I am at 298.8 this morning 71# down.  

Pre-op starts Monday I get to eat 1 meal a day of fish or chicken and veggies, and 2 - 3 protein shakes.

Kinda of worried about how I'm going to feel my first week of pre-op diet as I have to work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday days (12hrs) I have Wednesday off and then work Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night's (12 hrs).

Menu for today:

Breakfast- 2 eggs, Canadian bacon, salsa

Lunch - buffalo shredded chicken, romaine lettuce salad with veggies

Dinner - Tilapia, riced cauliflower, 2 laughing cow cheese wedges

Snack - Turkey stick, baby bel cheddar wheel

Try not to stress too much about your pre-op. You've got this! Best thing you can do is plan ahead :)

your lunch today sounds AMAZING. I'm going to have to steal a page from your meal book and try that hehe

Good morning!! It's 35 degrees this morning, my fingers are slightly seizing as I type they are frozen! Not sure what I'm doing today, waiting to hear from DS, he was supposed to move into a new place soon, but it fell through yesterday :( so he may be moving home this weekend.

QOTD - I am still a newbie, but I haven't had a protein shake since about 4 weeks out. I could not stomach them and never moved beyond the pre-made premier ones.

B-homemade espresso w/fairlife... not sure If it was my lack of frothing skills but the milk tasted funny to me. It was my first time trying fairlife but it didn't taste like regular milk to me.

d-not sure yet

Beyond sweetened coffee, I cannot stand anything sweet anymore - even yogurt which I used to love, boo! Your cheesecake recipe is tempting though!

I know a lot of people love Premier pre-made shakes, but I never liked them  - I could taste the protein in them.  Ugh!!

Hey gang... My shake of choice these days is Syntrax fuzzy navel mixed with 1 cup Kefir- brand Trader Joes carries...vanilla extract, extra sweetener and ice. Tastes like an orange julius. I have some orange extract or tangering Bai 5 I add if I am in the mood to up the orangey-ness.

I used to always make a shake with vanilla protein powder, liquid of choice, 1 tbsp cheesecake SF instant pudding mix, 1/4 c ricotta and a few strawberries- and ice. Strawberry cheesecake. yummm.

SO weird...I woke up hungry today...I mean really hungry. That rarely happens

At High end of maintenance zone 169 this AM. But it's OK, I'm in the zone. :)

Warm weather is great, but allergies I assume are kicking my butt...

Pre-breakfast: A few handfuls of homemade trail mix (This is when I realize hunger alert!)

B: Didn't even have coffee first- 1 cup greek yogurt, sytrax cappuccino flavor, 2 tbsp cacoa nibs, 2Tbsp oats. then my usual coffee with fairlife and as I am writing this realized I forgot my miralax.... ugh. One of those mornings. It maybe a 2 latte morning.

L: TJ roast turkey and LF jarlesburg, carrots and homemade greek yogurt ranch,

D: Eggplant and meat sauce... Day 3- has to be made!!

S: Hard boiled eggs and siracha, chai latte, Costco roast chicken

ex: 21 day fix pilates

It was YOU!  I posted before I read the thread this morning.  That is currently my most favorite breakfast of any I have had.  Love love love this.  I could not remember so I added 1/2 cup kefir and 1/2 cup fairlife.  Just made it a few minutes ago... thank you!
