What's on Your (PHOTO) Friday Menu, RNYers?

Happy Friday everyone! It is weekend eve! And Photo-Friday! Post 'em if you have 'em :)
Any fun plans for the weekend? I don't have a lot going on except for a much, much, much needed haircut. My old hairdresser is about 2 hours from my new home and I just don't ever want to do that much driving on a day that I don't have to, so I need to find someone new! I've been putting it off and I am nervous that I am going to come out looking like a topiary tomorrow. This might be the last time I show my face in a photo Friday again for a long time!
Here is my pic this week. Selfie of me wearing a new blouse that I picked up for $5.99 a few weeks ago (marked down from $79 thankyouverymuch!
I learned a new word recently that I keep finding new interesting uses for: SISYPHEAN: From Sisyphus--you know the guy who has to roll the boulder uphill and then watch it fall before it gets to the top, over and over... for eternity? "Sisyphean tasks" are those unending tasks that never come to a complete close--the things you bang your head against a wall because no matter how much time you spend rolling the rock uphill, it always crashes back down. I thought of it yesterday as I was washing graffiti off of middle school hallways. LOL. QOTD: Teach us a new and interesting word that some people might not be familiar with!
18 months post op / 120 lbs (still! whyyy???) / maintenance diet
B: Faux Egg Bites & Iced Coffee with whole milk
S: Rice Cake and Almond Butter & Babybel Cheese
L: Crack Chicken (last serving! I need to make moooore!)
S: Thick Cut Pepperoni & Laughing Cow Wedge; Baby Carrots
D: Any ideas here, Grim?
S: Halo Top! Trying it for the first time
Totals: Can't do 'em because I really don't know what is for dinner...
Exercise: 1 hour Elliptical / maybe some strength training too?
Vitamins: D3, Iron, & Multi Patches are on, plus I will take 2 more iron pills orally.
Have a great day, everyone!
Going to be a busy weekend for me, but that is a good thing because I won't have time to worry about my surgery on Monday. Saturday I have to take 15 7th graders to their regional Science Olympiad tournament. So I will be at the school at 6am and we probably won't return until 6pm. And since today is my last official work day, I will have to put everything up before I get to leave tomorrow (so that it won't be out for 2 weeks). Sunday I am going to do laundry, clean house, and pack for the hospital. Then I have a baby shower that afternoon for a cousin.
At my pre-op appointments I found out that I can leave my toes painted. They drew some blood to check my electrolytes. I felt fine before they did but felt light headed and dizzy the rest of the day and just couldn't get over it yesterday. Luckily I feel better this morning.
But I also found out that due to the flu they are starting a no children under 12 rule at the hospital Monday. I cried. My daughter is 3 and I really wanted to see her before I go back and when I wake up. That is really bothering me. I know she will be happier at home and not thinking about anything but I have never really been away from her before. Ugh I am crying again typing this!
Anyway day 1 billion and 2 on the liquid diet... (ok ok its day 12)
Same stuff as usual....
protein hot chocolate, premier protein, sf jello, soup, sf jello, premier protein, cream of soup with protein, sf popsicle
Have a great day everyone!

I know how upsetting it must be to not get to see your daughter before you go back, but in reality it'll probably be easier for her to not be there. Just give her a big hug before you leave and while you're at the hospital remind yourself how much more fun you and she can have when the extra weight is gone. You'll be a much more fun and active mom and be able to be a good example to her of a healthy lifestyle as she grows up. My biggest regret is that I had surgery after both boys were out of the house and they both have weight issues from our lifestyle. The youngest has taken on the challenge himself and lost about 60 pounds and is now at the top end of a normal bmi. The oldest not so much. He is probably headed toward diabetes like both my hubby and I before surgery. You will do great with your new lifestyle and surprise even yourself. I'll be praying for a successful surgery, speedy recovery and an amazing weight loss journey for you too!
