Hi Everyone! Daisy mentioned that she is off the thread for the rest of the week and I am happy to take over. Normally weekdays are too hard for me, but since it is school vacation week, I have a little wiggle room in my schedule

Oh man, remember how yesterday I was so bright-eyed, rested and ready for an awesome week? Yeah, well about 7 hours into work yesterday and I was alllllll set. They broke my gentle spirit, LOL! Actually, I just got some indirect feedback that someone thinks I haven't put enough time into a project that I have literally been killing myself over... My boss was excellent, and I am not feeling too badly about it, but still, such annoying way to end the day yesterday. And I couldn't sleep last night (unrelated) so I went from being over-rested, to only getting 4.5 hours. Boo.

Tonight I am heading to the gym after work. I am on Day 4 of Jeff Galloway's run/walk marathon training, and he wants me to run 3 miles tonight! Whaaaaa?!?!? I mean...maybe if I run it at a 15 minute mile pace, I might be able to eek that out, but I am so surprised that we are up to this on Day 4! I feel like I missed the part where we learn to run a mile? This should be interesting. But no matter how it goes, I am still pretty psyched to be doing this. I might not feel physically strong yet, but I feel strong mentally. I think my personality type needs goals and challenges to work towards so I feel happy to have a big motivator.

Ok, on another completely separate note...my job usually has a really strict dress code, but they decided that we can relax it over vacation week when there are no kids in the buildings! They call it "smart casual", and won't specifically define it but apparently jeans are allowed! Yay! But I am so paranoid that I will look too schlubby, so I have on jeans but I am also wearing heels. So, QOTD: What shoes are you wearing today? Here are mine!

Our snow is all gone, and in fact we aren't supposed to go below freezing until March 7th. Saturday is supposed to be 14 celsius!  I always tell my friend that I went to visit on the weekend that this is why I live in Southern Ontario! Having said that- your boots are cute!

I had to look up "skyr."  I was thinking, "what the heck IS that?" and I am always looking for new tasty options that fit into my plan.  So, you learn something new every day.  I don't know if they even have Skyr here in Oregon.  But now I am going to check.

It seems pretty new here in Ontario, but I really like it, and love the nutritional info!

Nice shoes! I like the way heels look with dark jeans but never wear them as I think it looks like I am trying to be too young. But I do like boots with a chunky heel with jeans! Which might be what I wear today. I am WFH, but have an appointment with an attorney.

B: eggbeaters and cottage cheese, English muffin and peanut butter

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: crack chicken

S: protein chips, maybe protein bar (no almonds - banished for a while due to ease of overeating)

Have a great quality eating day!
