How will I stop?
Congratulations! I am 25 pounds from my first target. My surgeon initially suggested that I would end up in the 170's somewhere. I still hope to eventually get closer to 150, which would put me exactly at the high end of normal. What a fun ride.
Way To Go! You have done an amazing job! I had a 9 week stahl around 140.... I almost lost my marbles LOL but once it started again it never stopped. I spoke with my surgeon and he told me to add in 500 cals a week (protein based of course) and to keep doing that until I found my maintenance spot. At the time I was working out like a nut and found 2500 cals a day kept me at 115-122. Of course that changed when I stopped working out so much.
Again Congratulations

J E F F !!!!
You are killing the weight loss !
Woo hoo!
Why why why do men lose weight at a better rate?
Why why why are we women cursed with Menapause?
Jeff ... I hope one day that I will be asking the same question, but it will most definitely not be a 4 months...
I am looking ahead and trying to figure out what a good "goal" weight would be.
I am not a normal woman... I am 5 8 inches and have a very large bone frame... I am also well muscled. I wish there was a normal weight guideline for me. I have chosen 175 as my long range goal (my weight at 22) BUT my weight management team believe 190 would be more realistic... Time will tell...
What I have learned from all of you?
My body will decide what it wants to do....
Take care!
I am your biggest cheer leader!

Hi,
Thanks for being my biggest cheerleader! I know that I'm doing good. Part of it is just that I don't like food anymore. I'm only having about 500-700 calories a day. I'd actually rather lose it just a little slower. At 5'11" I really don't want to end up 150.
I use to think I was big boned. I now know that's not true. My doctor was laughing at me today because I thought the my sternum and ribs felt malformed. Turns out I never really felt them before.
Yeah, big boned was a myth we all liked to tell ourselves. Big boned really is not a thing.
The oddest bone I found, by far, was the xyphoid process.
Enjoy not liking food. A year from now you will like food again. A lot. And you'll be fighting to keep from gaining.
6'3" tall, male.
