A lot of us are in the same boat. Just don't go hoarding crappy food. If it's in the house you'll eat it.

I'm a meat hoarder. My freezer is overflowing.

I think I'm guilty of this, too.  Our upstairs fridge is packed to gills.  We have overflow items in the basement fridge.  And both freezers are packed, too.  For two of us.  That's insane!!

We have 2 full freezers of meat too for two people who eat like 11/2 people. But it's all meat and it was all on sale and we eat every meal out of it so it goes down--just not much at a time.

No one is perfect or we wouldn't be here. You are not alone, we are all in this together! Sounds like you are doing great getting back on track. Keep coming here, hopefully you will be more comfortable posting as well!

I understand this- You are not used to the smaller portions yet so your eyes are bigger than what you can eat. DH and I went camping in november and I packed enough food for 2-3 weeks not 2 nights we were going to be gone. This will take time.

IT is important though that you have the proper foods when you need them.
