Good afternoon! I've been gone since the 10th, and I'm trying to get back into the swing of things....in the office and on OH! It feels good to get back to normal. We've had some beautiful weather here, and I've taken full advantage of it. Yesterday, it was warm and sunny and beautiful, and I felt beautiful for the first time in many many years. It was an amazing feeling. My marriage has had a few bumps in it in the past couple of weeks, and things are starting to get back to normal...well, better than normal....so I'm feeling very happy about that!
QOTD: This question could not have come at a better time. Since being off work for the past 11 days, I've had some time for reflection, and I've reflected on this subject the most. My husband, or anyone for that matter....I've tried to not crowd people. People would stand so far away from me, even close friends of ours, my dad, my kids. It's not like that anymore! I love that my husband will stand so close to me now. aha moment! Like Pam, when I hug my husband, I stand toe to toe with him. I couldn't do that before. Intimacy....there are a lot more things that I can do in that department. And the final one....we had a birthday party for my daughter yesterday, had a lot of family and close friends over, had a great time. Well....my husband is a little territorial, apparently, which is a side of him that I have never seen. We married and I was fat and just got fatter as time went on, so I guess he never had to worry about this part....his guy friends were checking me out!! Laughable if you ask me, but it bothered him enough to say this, "My own two best friends were checking you out, babe. At first, it pissed me off pretty bad, but I didn't want to say anything in front of everyone, so I let it go. Then, I couldn't get it off of my mind and the more I thought about it, the more I was like 'that's my wife!'" Like he was proud that I looked so good, and that made me feel so much better about the touch-and-go situations we've been in the past few weeks.
2 1/2 months out, weighed in at drumroll please 192! This is huge for me. I struggled for so long by stalling and not going under 200, but...yeah baby!!!!

QOTD - I had to move my seat up in my car to reach the pedals better, guess I have lost inches off of my butt. I also may have to adjust my seat up higher pretty soon...feeling like I am sitting a little low these days.
