Good morning. I can't think of any surprises yet, as it was pretty obvious as to the source of my issues or challenges. It might go in reverse, as my back pain hasn't gotten much better. At least not yet. I always said to myself, just lose 150 pounds and this will go away or at least get a lot better. Well I'll hope it will as I lose more weight and that I didn't do permanent damage.

Good Morning Peachpie & Menu Fam!
This weekend was lovely but so busy for us! Our pod came in on Friday so we packed, and loaded it with about 30% of the house, Chopped off 6 inches from my hair, did laundry, cleaned the house, and went grocery shopping.
QOTD: I realized I hated shopping because it always got me depressed, and would rather buy online (yes, even clothes and shoes). WHat was depressing was my size, and trying stuff on would be so unmotivating. I actually still don't like shopping as much as the next girl, but I do shop a bit more in person now.

QOTD: Good one Peach. There was so much I was in denial about while I was MO and also unaware was because of being MO. I hated purses too and could never get the ones with 2 handles or cross body style. I knew it was because my shoulders were fat. I wondered why movie theater seats had to be so small. Or why my desk chair at work seemed to be a piece of crap and fall apart faster than everyone elses. I just figured that I was one of those people that couldn't wear heels. I had all over body pain that went all the way to my finger tips that I couldn't explain. Completely gone now. My plantar fasciitis is gone. I always claimed to be a healthy fat person. I realize now there is no such thing. My body was screaming at me! I would get so mad when we had plans all weekend long. I thought it was normal to be so tired after working all week that it justified sitting and binge watching netfix and not doing anything else. Now I can't sit still! I can't wait for all the fun festivities all weekend!

Amen. One of my pet peeves is when people say they were really healthy when SMO. No, they weren't. We can fool ourselves into thinking we were healthy. But really, we were digging our graves with a fork and spoon.

Good morning,
It was beautiful weather this weekend. Got out and took a walk, it felt good. The fitbit is really helping to motivate me. My weight this morning was 169.2 which surprised me. I still think i ate terrible last week.
QOTD I can walk better than before. Sleep is better. Dont have aches and pains any longer. The bathroom stalls were a big problem.

Have a great day
Hi everyone! I'd say good morning but it's almost afternoon here and I'm just now getting a chance to post. We had a very busy weekend, but it was very enjoyable....we threw a 'surprise' party for my brother-in-law for his birthday. Lots of people, I think we counted 20 total....though that does include the kids, there were 9 of them so as you can imagine there was a LOT of noise. It was a gorgeous day so we actually got to sit outside on our deck and enjoy food off the grill. I didn't go crazy with the eating but I definitely partook in things I don't normally eat (like Jalapeño popper dip...which I purposely left out overnight so I'd have to throw it away this morning). Today I'm back to a normal menu and happy for it....who knew I'd become one of those people who misses a healthier diet. One of the biggest differences in the 'old me' vs. the 'new me' was that I had no soda yesterday....I used to LOVE soda, yesterday I had water and I limited myself to one hard cider. It made me feel very good to know that I was comfortable with limiting myself...I've come a long way!
Countdown to surgery: 23 days
QOTD: I'm still SMO...so I don't really have a realization yet, but I do have things I'm looking forward to...like not bouncing off one of those narrow door frames (we have one in our bathroom and I swear I almost always bump into one side or the other when I go through it), and not having my handbag handle slip off my shoulder because my arm is too fat for it.
MENU:
B: Fit Frappe + Leftover Steak
L: Protein Shake
D: TBD
E: True Beginner - Day 1 - The Daily Burn
L: Water Water Water, Maybe some SF Cran splashed in it
Have a great day all!
