The cinnamon vanilla syrup is delicious!  I have more coffees with that syrup than I care to admit.  Sorry about the dryer.  That happened to me with my washing machine last year (the week of my revision surgery, actually).  I had blankets in the washer and it died mid cycle.  Of course it had to die during a rinse and not a spin, so the washer was filled with water.  I had to fish the blankets out and hang them over my fence so they didn't mildew.  Good luck to you and Elizabeth with the home appliances!

I remember someone on here saying they found this syrup recently at world market and how good it was. It must have been you! Delicious indeed! I've had a washer die mid-cycle too. What a mess! Thankful they weren't blankets, that must have been a sight!! Not looking forward to spending the money on a new dryer, but it must be done :(

It was me with the syrup!  I've almost finished the bottle!!

The blankets were nuts and weighed a ton each!

Hello Menu Crew...I went to my 6 week check up this morning.  Met with the NUT who wants me to eat at least 1000-1200 calories (NOT) and to include whole grains and fruit (NOT).  I told her that I did not want to add more carbs and calories until I was finished with the weight loss phase.  She did not approve and launched into the 'starvation mode' speech.  I smiled and nodded, but in my head I was thinking, NO WAY!

yikes - I didn't work up to 1000-1200 kcal until I was a year out.  I don't think I ate whole grains until around then, either (and I still only eat them VERY infrequently).  I've always had fruit - a little - but mostly just a few berries on top of my morning yogurt....

Happy Friday!! OMG I feel so lost having not posted since the weekend work has been crazy busy and I feel like I have been working almost non stop.  I have been quickly reading everyone's posts but I missed Valentines day and everything.  This weekend is busy as usual tomorrow night I am volunteering at a soup fundraiser to raise money for local food banks.  My  brother is making the soup (chili) that I am donating.  You donate what you can and then you go around and taste all the soups, chili's and chowders.  Should be fun! Sunday is a BJ's run we are going to DC next weekend to see our daughter in musical so we need to go and stock up on all the things she has asked us to bring down and Monday is a holiday so no work so it will be chores and packing for DC.  I am very excited I miss my daughter and looking forward to giving her big hugs!

QOTD:  So I am not posting the last picture on my cell phone.  Today is my mom's birthday so I went to the cemetery to bring her flowers and I took a picture of her headstone with the flowers to send my Aunt (her sister).

My food for the day:

B: Hard boiled egg white 2 slices bacon

S: 1/2 strawberries

L: 2oz ham pieces of cheese

D: going out to celebrate Valentines day!

Have a great evening friends.
