What's on your Menu Today (Thursday) RNYers?
Hello all - late post for me again today.
I just had my meeting on Tuesday with my bariatric nutritionist. I was told as soon as I could eat that my meals need to be 1/2 protein, 1/4 fruit or vegetable, and 1/4 starch.
After reading posts on OH I believe that I can get enough carbs thru eating vegetables, starches are not good for me. They are a huge trigger food.
QOTD: I am so glad I stumbled upon this site. I had done alot of reading and researching WLS, but seeing information from people here who have already walked the walk and have been successful has been the most valuable information I have gotten. I am so ready for this surgery, I am not nervous at all just ready and excited and that is because of everyone here that has ready been thru it.

Hi everyone,
A JB & Grim not wedding party! LOL! Sounds awesome!
DD, what a great pic of your meet up!
QOTD: I don't know what I would do without OH! Without all of the vets help I'd probably be gaining weight with advice my NUT gives me. She actually wants me eating 1,400 cals right now and eating carbs!! I DON'T THINK SO! I would love to meet some you guys and ladies. JB, DD, Grim and on and on! I want to thank you all for the no BS advice. Both when I am doing good and screwing up.
I have been on a stall for 2 weeks. Still sticking to plan. I hope it ends soon!

Maryann and I have said our goodbyes.
I am waiting for my plane to Honolulu, 2 hour layover then onto NY. Arrive 7am Friday morning. Praying for sleep on plane.
QOTD: while I have several good support groups around me hospital/community....met lots of nice people I see many not reaching goal, or hitting it and regaining quickly. OH has been so important, I've learned so much, and I need daily support. So thank you all my OH family for your amazing support
