I love the way you think my friend! Do you even realize its an NSV? Saying no to fruit and saying you wait? Yup you got this my friend, I am super impressed and applaud you!
It makes my heart smile when newbies take advice and run with it! Enjoy your veggies! Keep kicking ass Chris!
My Guy snores like mad too. He has apnea and refuses to wear his CPAP mask so all night long I wake...shake him...listen to see if he starts breathing well again...sleep a few minutes...wake...shake him....listen to see if he is breathing well...rinse and repeat. I think my brain is just unhappy and worried when I can't hear his snoring and I wake to shake him and if he is not there then I get anxious. Restless night all around. I think he and I are symbiotic creatures at this point. Like peas and carrots :)
Pam and I will totally out run the cops...I ain't scared. :)

You are an exceptionally nice wife. I would make him wear his CPAP or sleep on the couch so I couldn't hear him!
I have severe sleep apnea and have worn CPAP since 2001. I recently switched to nasal prongs/pillows and really like it. I sleep with the blanket over my head (old night nurse trick) and I make no noise.
You might remind him everytime his saturation drops he's dropping oxygen to his heart and brains and maybe other organs he loves.
Bright side is I have convinced him to go in for a new sleep study. His first one was almost 7 years ago. For the last 9 months or so he has been refusing to wear his mask saying it has a leak and he is "gonna get around" to calling to order a new one. Now the doctor has decided to send him for a full work up. Thankfully! He goes in a week or so and I really think his health will improve overall. Sleep is sooooo vital!

Good morning!! Such a great pic of you two!! It's so cool that you guys are so close! It's pouring out today. We have had a horrible drought for years and years and it makes me worry about the dam in northern CA, flooding, the rising lakes, run off and mudslides, it's just awful....
QOTD - I was just journaling about this very thing!! I am here because there is no one in my life who can even fathom what I am going through. If I were to follow the advice from my center, I wouldn't be as successful as I have been. It is thanks to OH that I am doing so well. I feel confident, capable, informed and know that I can do this long term! A HUGE shout out to everyone on here for all the support - from brand new to the vets, but especially the vets who have all been there/done that and are at goal, strong and still here, keeping themselves honest and accountable. It never ends and therefore, I am committed to showing up and being accountable too, everyday!!
I OH!!

Is water a problem for you Amy or do you just like it super cold? Let me know as plain water early on for me was a BIG problem. Didn't matter if it was cold, hot, warm, room temp, bottled, could not drink it at all. Then the Vets turned me on to "flavouring" your water.
Let me know!
