Good morning DD2 and Gang.  I'm having a rough morning.  Hubby texted last night and he's still too sick to fly home.  I told him he needs to find an Urgent Care out there in South Dakota and hopefully they can help him out.  I'm really worried about him.  I'm struggling hard here, my kids are both not feeling good and with the overload at work this week (everything that has been on hold has come in within the last few days) and the new puppy, I'm on the verge of a meltdown.  I may have cried through my makeup all morning before I left the house.  I had a puppy hanging off of my leg, and a 3 year old crying and complaining and my 17 year old not feeling well, but going to school anyway. 

So, I didn't have time to pack a lunch or even a breakfast this morning.  I just ordered a breakfast scramble from the restaurant in the building, which is eggs, ham, onion green pepper and cheese.  No toast or potatoes. 

For lunch I'll either just get a salad or something from downstairs or order out from somewhere.  I'm not feeling particularly hungry today, which is good.  I think that for some reason all of the stress is making me not want to eat.  I claim victory there!

I also had a huge victory yesterday here at work.  I resisted all of the cupcakes and cookies in the building and didn't even get tempted. 

My weight is back up to 160# on the nose this morning, but shark week started this morning as well so I'm okay with only a .2 pound gain.

This has been a hell of a week for so many people I know!!!!

I had a mental image of the puppy hanging off your leg, toddler in your arms, and 17yo looking like crap with a backpack hanging off his back... I wanted to give you a hug over that one!!! 

Hang tough, Sister!!

I really hope your hubby finds a doc. That is so scary!! :(

One day at a time. Hope your hubby gets to feeling better ASAP. You have a ton going on.  Be sure to remember to take care of yourself in all this.  I vote for a long hot bath tonight. Just my two cents.

Morning all, 

our springs are always like that here in the south...bipolar swings between warm and cold, and then BAM!, it's summer, lol. 

I think we are taking one more sick day here. I starting having some symptoms myself last night. This morning I feel better and I'm coughing up junk. I think most of us are in the mend, but my 12yo spiked a temp again last night, so he's not done. 

Breakfast- making French toast for my kids, I will have a leftover turkey Italian sausage, coffee with FF half and half...the breakfast of champions. 

Lunch- egg salad on sliced cucumber, I never did have it yesterday

Snack- 1 oz peanuts, the rest of the frozen peaches

Dinner- I am making a lasagne for the family, so I have some frozen ready to eat shrimp scampi and a little single serving frozen veg for me. Having stuff like this around is nice for meals I can't adapt easily for myself.
