Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!

QOTD: We celebrate in some fashion each year... but nothing too over the top. This year, hubby has been pretty sick with the flu, and he's been that way since Saturday! We were supposed to go out to eat, and then go play pool or go bowling afterwards last Saturday, but we spent the night at home, him running back and forth to the bathroom...

I had already bought him the passes to the River Rapids park in downtown OKC, so that along with a card (this card cost $10.00... that's just ridiculous!!!) I'll give him that tonight. Got the kids some watercolor crayons and more paper to paint on... even if they're getting older, they still like to paint or draw, and I like to encourage that!

This morning scale granted me another loss... 150.8!

I did some therapy shopping at the Goodwill yesterday during lunch, I needed a break from such a crappy day! (And it seems Soooo many of my friends had a crappy day yesterday too! Must have been in the cosmos somewhere... anyway!) Size 8's... 2 pair of jeans, Gap and The Limited)... and neither pair are the least bit snug, actually a bit loose... maybe I'll be seeing 6's in my future. That's amazing to me! Last time I lost weight, 8 was the magical size I chose, but never got there... now that I'm here, I'm pretty damned happy - but I think I want a size 8 from when I wore them last, which is probably today's 4 or 6!! LOL

B: I have more surprise cups of frozen food... I only ate 2 yesterday, so I have another leftover jambalaya, ANOTHER crack chicken (I froze a lot of that LOL), and a container that looks like chicken... or maybe turkey... at any rate, all are 2.5-3 ounces... all yummy and healthy! I think I'll have the crack chicken again because it makes a great breakfast!

L: one of those mystery cups!

D: Not sure... but I DO know I will eat nothing that isn't protein... the loss hasn't stopped for this round yet, and I will do nothing to slow it until it does it all on it's own!

that is so funny about the surprise cups- I TRY really hard to label mine- but I've found quite a few ham and bean soups and then I'm like- BOO- I don't want to eat it cause the stats aren't wonderful. then I try to force my DH to eat it instead. SOMETIMES it works...

I have to eat them! I only have 12 of these 4 ounce Glad containers (6 mutant ninja turtles, and 6 Frozen ones! LOL), and I need to eat them so I can fill them back up!

For some reason, those are the only containers I use for lunches... unless it's steak and I throw it in a baggie...

I don't like using bigger ones because then they're not full (I still use my little plates, and little bowls at home, too, I really love having them!)

I still use baby spoons even at 20 months out.  I love them and have one at work, several at home, and I take one or two with me whenever I travel.  I don't like eating things like yogurt without them.  Sort of like I don't like eating Chinese food without chopsticks!

Happy Valentine's Day!

QOTD: We keep it simple. My husband is not super great at gifts anyway and I don't care about flowers. We usually will go to dinner somewhere new but he is my best friend and we hang out all the time so it's not any different than any other day. We went and had a nice steak Saturday to celebrate early. Yesterday he left to go up to his mom and dads in East Texas to start plowing and planting veggies. I plan on taking the kids for a pizza or something tonight.

I struggle with eating breakfast and getting my liquids in so I'm going to skip breakfast and have 2 lunches to see if I like this better.

B- coffee with creamer & miralax

L1 (10:30-11am) - Beef rib

L2 (1 -2 pm) - Baked fish

S - cheese

D - Not sure yet

S - Chobani flip

I eat my breakfast late... I get up at 5:10... and I eat somewhere between 9-9:30... I drink 20-24 ounces of water on the way to work in my car, and then 2 coffees when I get here... THEN I can have breakfast! LOL
